From the mouth of Vasubandhu, it is also said: Self-nature is of three kinds, and the absence of self-nature is also of three kinds. Relying on all phenomena, it is shown to be without self-nature. Thus, taking one as an example, it is said that there is no form. Then, the aggregates of the completely imputed are not to be considered in the ultimate sense, but even in the conventional sense, they do not exist with the characteristic of not being deceptive. Apart from illusion, nothing is established. The consciousness of other-power, which appears as aggregates, arises and ceases due to the power of others. Although it is merely an object of acceptance and rejection, it is not truly established by its own nature. And the nature of form, the perfectly established, is that it is without the nature of sudden defilements, grasping and apprehending illusion. Through the three ways of non-existence, it is shown that the bases for the application of the term "aggregates" are all non-existent. This can be analogized to all others. Thus, in the wisdom of the distinctive basis of suchness, the form of the completely imputed has never been established, and the form of the dependently imputed has never been established as a true entity. Therefore, these two are non-existent in the way that they are empty of their own nature. The form of the perfectly established suchness, although it is not empty of its own nature suchness, it is non-existent in the nature of sudden defilements of grasping and apprehending. Therefore, the term "non-existent" means that it is non-existent in the way that it is empty of others. Thus, the essence of the condensed meaning of the words is: In the emptiness of the wisdom of emptiness, the forms and so on, which are included by the completely imputed and the other-powered, have never been established, so they are said to be non-existent. The forms and so on of suchness, although they are the very wisdom of emptiness, 17-472 however, because they are not the phenomena of grasping and apprehending samsara, they are said to be non-existent. The basis of emptiness is the dharmadhatu. Saying that there is no form until it is not obtained is a rough explanation. And distinguishing each one into three natures, is only a difference in the way of speaking. The completely imputed and the other-powered are combined into one, and are empty from the beginning by convention, and the ultimate is empty by the characteristic of grasping and apprehending. It can also be explained from the perspective of the two truths, but in meaning there is no difference. In the context of being skilled in dependent origination, it is necessary to understand this much: ignorance, action, consciousness, name and form, the six sense bases, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, existence,

Birth, old age, and death are the twelve links. Among them, ignorance is: being deluded and unknowing about the objects to be known, it is a state of unclear wisdom. Regarding the meaning of the Four Noble Truths or the cause-and-effect of dependent origination, it is a discriminating mind that cannot perceive even a little, like an object in the dark or something on the other side of a mountain. It is divided into two types: ignorance of suchness and ignorance of karmic results. The latter is a mental factor that does not know that virtuous and non-virtuous actions produce the results of happiness and suffering. The former has three types: ignorance of the characteristics of the Four Noble Truths, such as impermanence, suffering, and selflessness; ignorance of emptiness free from elaboration; and ignorance of the realm of the Tathagatagarbha. Among these, ignorance of karmic results causes the projection of non-virtuous actions; ignorance of the suchness of the Four Noble Truths causes the projection of both virtuous and non-virtuous actions that lead to rebirth in the three realms of samsara; ignorance of freedom from elaboration, even if one transcends the three realms, does not transform into a body of wisdom, but causes the attainment of an inferior mind-body and the uncontaminated actions that accomplish the body of meditative absorption, as well as intermediate actions. Ignorance of the realm of the Tathagatagarbha is the basis of the habitual tendencies of ignorance, and it even causes the projection of uncontaminated actions that accomplish the three forms of the body of wisdom and the mind-body. In general, these are all because the earlier ones exist, the later ones necessarily exist along with them, so ignorance of the Tathagatagarbha causes the projection of all of these. Ignorance of freedom from elaboration causes all actions except for the action of the mind-body. From "ignorance of freedom from elaboration causes all actions except for the action of the mind-body" to "ignorance of karmic results only causes the projection of non-virtuous actions" can be inferred. So, isn't the branch of ignorance considered by the noble Nagarjuna and the glorious Dharmakirti, etc., to be the view of the aggregates as a basis for clinging to self and what belongs to self? Why is it not considered so in the ultimate sense? Although ignorance and the view of the aggregates are different in essence, the ignorance that causes projection into the three realms only arises in connection with the view of the aggregates. Because the appearance of ignorance is not clear, it is not explained from that aspect, but because the appearance of the view of the aggregates is clear and easy to recognize.
