, because existence and destruction are contradictory at the same time. 17-464 If it doesn't exist, it won't be destroyed either, because for something that has already ceased to exist, there is no need for destruction. In this way, cessation and destruction are the same meaning, just different names. No destruction is no cessation. Regarding "unborn and unceasing," some deceitful people explain it as: the essence of wisdom does not arise at all, and the ability does not cease at all. This explanation is in line with the sayings of those in Tibet who call themselves practitioners, and to the average person it seems to be a good explanation and easy to understand. However, the great chariot masters did not explain it this way. They understood the meaning of unborn as already ceased, and the meaning of unceasing as arising. In this way, it is completely inconsistent with the meaning of the words of this sutra. Therefore, such self-made explanations should be discarded far away. It is also said: "Therefore you say that these beings are born from complete discrimination, and even if all knowable things are known, there is no birth or death." It means that because the aggregates and so on are originally empty, therefore, it should be known that all beings in these vessel and sentient realms are born from discrimination, and are only established by discrimination. Although in the illusion of conventional truth, these things are merely appearances, they have no self-nature. Therefore, there is also no birth and death. Furthermore, in the "Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning" it says: "The world is conditioned by ignorance, why does the Fully Enlightened One say? Therefore, it is unreasonable to say that these beings are discrimination." It means that all the aggregates, elements, and sense bases of the world are produced by the power of ignorance. Therefore, it must be nominal and discrimination. Since it is the cause of wrong views, why is it not false? That is its meaning. By refuting the five aggregates, as well as the characteristics and birth and death, it mainly shows the non-self-nature of the imputed nature. Now, regarding the absence of defilement and the absence of separation from defilement, 17-465 There is no samsara in permanence, nor is there samsara in impermanence, you are the supreme of wisdom, saying samsara is like a dream. Suffering is created by oneself, or created by others, or created by both, the Sautrantikas consider it causeless. You say it is dependent origination.

Whatever arises in connection, you consider to be emptiness. Declaring that things have no self-governance, that is your, the incomparable one's, lion's roar. In order to abandon all conceptual thoughts, you teach the nectar of emptiness, and whoever clings to it, you severely rebuke. Thus it is said. The cycle of the six realms due to the three, karma, affliction, and suffering, is appropriate for that which is without inherent existence, like an illusion, but it is not appropriate for that which is permanent in its essence. Permanence cannot be cyclic; if the realm of the gods were permanent, then the cycle of hell and so forth would be impossible. If the state of karma and affliction as causes were permanent, then it would remain in that state, and it would be impossible to cycle and enter into the state of suffering as a result. Impermanence also does not cycle, because impermanence passes away in each moment. Therefore, there is no one who cycles after the second moment. These phenomena, such as the aggregates, are also not suitable as the nature of cyclic existence, because they are neither permanent in their essence nor impermanent. If they were permanent, then the former and latter would be the same, and they would become one; if they were impermanent, then the former and latter would be different, and they would become many. Since they are separate from one and many, permanence and impermanence are also not reasonable. If cyclic existence existed in reality, it would be impossible for the Buddhas not to see it, but since it does not exist, they do not see it directly, but know it like those with clairvoyance see the dreams of others. This suffering of the aggregates of appropriation, the Samkhyas and others assert that it is made by oneself; the Hearers, the Mind-Only school, and most other non-Buddhists assert that it arises from another in its essence; the Naked Ascetics say that it arises from both; and those who assert no cause are those who speak of self-nature as the cause. The reasoning that refutes these has already been explained above, and the absence of cause also contradicts direct perception. Furthermore, when a god is transformed into a human, karma is accumulated, and when one experiences suffering in hell, if it is made by oneself, then it would become that karma is accumulated on the basis of hell, and hell and human would also become one. It would also become that one experiences the suffering of hell on the basis of human, thus it would become a fault of permanence, and the essence
