Non-other Again, if there is no that, you have clearly shown it. Characteristics and what is expressed are separate, Having abandoned all expressions of words, you, with your wisdom body, see these beings in peace. (This is the sutra) Thus it is said, that which is suitable for form is the characteristic of form. (This is the sutra) Like this and so on, although it is accepted as merely a self-nature that is nominally established, if the suitability of form and the aggregates of form are different in nature, then the characteristic will not be able to express the basis, it should become a fault. If it is one in nature, then there should be no difference between the characteristic and what is expressed. Also, before the characteristic of form, is form existent or non-existent? If it is non-existent, then there should be no basis on which the characteristic can be established, and because there is no basis, the characteristic should become non-existent. If it exists, then the basis without characteristic is not reasonable, and because it is not pervaded by the characteristic, that characteristic should also become non-characteristic. Therefore, on whatever basis or differentiating basis, those characteristics or differentiating qualities are established. As it is said, or it is merely conceptually imputed, but in reality it is not existent, therefore all phenomena are without characteristics. What is called unborn, the existent thing does not arise, it is neither non-existent nor both existent and non-existent, it is neither from itself nor from another, not from both, how is birth? Thus it is said, if there is a slight action in the world, then there must be an agent, such as eating and walking, and so on. Therefore, if there is birth, then there must be a producer, that is, the one who arises. The one who arises does not arise because it is already accomplished. Even if it is accomplished, if it still arises, then it should become a continuous arising, therefore it becomes too much, and if it arises after it is accomplished, then it should become unnecessary. It is also unreasonable for it to arise without a producer, it should become an action without an agent. It is also unreasonable for both existence and non-existence to arise, if the two are two different entities, then they should become their respective faults, and it is contradictory for one thing to have both existence and non-existence. This is the reasoning that prevents existence and non-existence from arising. Things do not arise from themselves because they are already accomplished in themselves. They do not arise from others because they need to rely on the producer. For example, a sprout does not arise from another.

arises, because the sprout itself depends on the seed of the same kind. If it also arises without depending on it, then it will also arise from all unrelated things. It is not from both, because it is unchanging for both. It also does not arise without a cause, because a causeless thing does not depend on others. Otherwise, it would fall into the fault of "always existing or not existing." Therefore, it is only an illusion of arising that appears, but in reality, arising is not established. In this way, true arising never exists. If only from the point of view of arising, as it is said: "The initial and the otherness of that, the self-nature of oneself changes into self and other, from the difference of all defilements, it is said to have forbearance in the unborn dharma." Thus, many terms for the complete non-existence of special arising are also spoken. Also, the examination of time is: a temporary cause should not produce a result. Not from the undestroyed, not from dreams and the arising of nets, you yourself promised. The arising of causes and results of the destroyed and the undestroyed, arises like an illusion, you said everything is like that. It is said that causes and results are not self-existent, because in self-nature, different times are not possible, and the same time is not possible. If it is said that the times are different, arising one after another, then it is unreasonable to arise from a destroyed cause, if it is reasonable, then it will also appear the fault that even after the death of a domestic bird, it can make a sound. It is also unreasonable for the result to arise from the destruction of illusion, if it is reasonable, then it should appear that when the combustible is burning, in the stage of the cause, there is already burnt ash. Therefore, all causes and results, both before and after and at the same time, should be known as like dreams or illusions. By this example, all conditioned dharmas, although existing in conventional truth, are said to be non-existent in ultimate truth. The so-called non-cessation means that existence can be transformed into dwelling, but it will not be transformed into destruction. Non-dwelling, with wisdom, will not be transformed into destruction. It is said that form and so on are not self-destructive, because if they are self-existent, they will not be destroyed, and if they are non-existent, they will not be destroyed. If it exists, it will not be destroyed, because existence is dwelling.
