If it is thought that this contradicts the ultimate non-duality, in general, the ultimate reality and the actual ultimate are non-dual. Merely the ultimate, merely suchness, is established due to temporary needs, therefore it not only becomes two, but even becomes infinite. However, the so-called non-grasping is not merely stopped at the negation of existence, so non-grasping and having wisdom become one and only, and will not become two. For example, a person has the essence of a human being, and is not another being, these two, are like not being different realities. If the classification of characteristics and the classification of features are explained, even if countless kalpas pass, it will not be exhausted. Just because of this, reality will not become many. Therefore, after thinking about these, if you arbitrarily refute and make meaningless noises, it is meaningless. These two truths are spoken in the Mahayana secret sutra or tantra called "Vajrapani Empowerment" as follows: There are two types of Mahayana, namely, distinguished by conditioned phenomena and distinguished by unconditioned phenomena. Among them, the distinction by conditioned phenomena is the nature of conduct. The Mahayana itself, which is distinguished by unconditioned phenomena, is the Mahayana. Son of good family, furthermore, conditioned phenomena are produced by causes and conditions, and are the nature of dependent origination. Son of good family, unconditioned phenomena are the nature of non-arising, and are the nature of emptiness itself. Son of good family, furthermore, what is the Mahayana of the nature of conduct? After realizing emptiness, the Tathagatas, Arhats, and perfectly enlightened Buddhas, with the power of time and place, in order to subdue sentient beings, grasp the means, and universally guide them with actions and deeds, son of good family, this is the Mahayana of the nature of conduct. Son of good family, then, what is the Mahayana itself of the unconditioned Mahayana? It is the term of the Dharma nature of how it abides. Son of good family, the so-called Dharma nature of how it abides is the term of the nature of the inconceivable. Inconceivable

That which is your own nature is the unconditioned. That which is unconditioned does not depend on the two extremes. For it, there is neither the nature of imputation nor the nature of non-imputation. For that which has neither the nature of imputation nor the nature of non-imputation, there is no activity. That which has no activity is not to be spoken of. That which is not to be spoken of is separate from all things. That which is separate from all things is unperturbed. That which is unperturbed is Dharma. That which is Dharma is what the Tathagata has fully awakened to. That which the Tathagata has fully awakened to is truth. Son of good family, that which is truth is existence. That which is existence is not false. That which is not false is correct. That which is correct is the nature of Dharma. That which is the nature of Dharma is non-conceptual, non-discriminating. That which is non-conceptual, non-discriminating is wisdom. It is said extensively and so on, that the nature of Dharma is liberated from things, and is also the state of how it abides. It is unperturbed, that is, indestructible, and is the actual Buddhahood to be attained by those who attain Buddhahood, and is truly established, and is existence, and is wisdom. The absence of the nature of imputation means that it is beyond the realm of sound and thought; the absence of the nature of non-imputation means that it is not a mixture of sound and meaning, and it is not even in the nature of what appears to consciousness. This is the negation of the characteristics of the totally imputed and the other-powered. Therefore, the characteristic of the totally imputed is all false conventionalities, but the appearance of the apprehended and the apprehender being far apart, or the appearance of the object and mind appearing as different, and the appearance of the name and meaning appearing as related, and the mind that grasps coarsely such as people, animals, mountains, and houses, and all the general meanings of the imputed aspects of discrimination. In short, all the objects of apprehension of the grasping of discrimination. Although it actually appears to consciousness, the difference that appears from the habits of the dualistic discrimination, although not actually established by the discrimination of sound and meaning, appears as an external object. This is the actual totally imputed to be imputed, and the imputor is the grasping discrimination.
