In this case, the non-harmonious situations are: not having faith in that place, or the seer themselves generating afflicted thoughts. As it is said (in the scriptures): "When sentient beings see you, O noble one, how excellent, how excellent! Just by seeing, they generate supreme faith. I pay homage to your deeds." Those who believe with faith, causing them to rejoice manifestly, wisdom not being suppressed, without contempt for powers. These three phrases show what one relies on to accomplish the benefit of sentient beings. Coming to the Teacher's presence comes with two thoughts: the thought of faith, and the thought of subjugation. Some faith also arises from previous roots of virtue, coming with doubt, which also belongs to faith. Some come with extreme joy. Thus, with faith, they come believing that they will obtain the Teacher's Dharma. All of these arise from seeing the holy form and hearing the holy speech, generating joy and manifest delight. Coming with the thought of subjugation is also of two kinds: those who want to subjugate with wisdom, such as the naked ones, truth-speakers, and so on; those who want to subjugate with physical strength, such as yakshas, forest dwellers, and so on. For the sake of taming them, the Thus-Gone One is without unknowing and has infinite wisdom, because he possesses the fearlessness of speaking Dharma in accordance with the capacity. The wisdom of the Thus-Gone One is not suppressed by others, as stated in the "Sutra of Throwing Stones." Because the Thus-Gone One possesses infinite bodily strength, the bodily strength of the Thus-Gone One cannot be despised by the strength of other individuals. The detailed establishment of the Thus-Gone One's bodily strength, which is the self-system of the Great Vehicle itself, is extensively explained in the "Samadhi Sutra of the Collection of All Merits." Alternatively, those who believe with faith are those with dull faculties, making them rejoice with the joy of Dharma. By saying "wisdom not being suppressed," it makes those with sharp faculties rejoice by obtaining through seeing and so on. There is no contempt for powers because one possesses the wisdom of the ten powers, so one cannot be overcome by any outsiders. He is the teacher of all sentient beings, the father of all Bodhisattvas—the Noble One.

The king of all sentient beings, the guide for those who go to the city of Nirvana. These four lines show the activities of benefiting sentient beings, that is, indicating the path or cause of happiness to all sentient beings. For example, some sentient beings in the lower realms have their suffering pacified by the light emanating from the body, generate faith, and are placed in the good realms. The beings in the good realms are also placed in various good deeds such as generosity and discipline, and gradually ripen them into the three Bodhis. Among those sentient beings, in terms of those who have entered the vehicle, the latter three sentences, in which the father of the Bodhisattva is said, the Buddha-nature of the Mahayana, the Bodhisattva is born from the Dharma of the Buddha, and through the gates of body, speech, mind and action, Because it is similar to the Buddha himself and abides, it is the son of the Buddha, and the Tathagata is his father, the place where they obtain merit. Those who are noble are of the Shravaka and Pratyekabuddha lineage. That is, those who enter the stream, those who come once, those who do not come, the Arhats of the Shravakas and the solitary Buddhas, etc., although they live by the Dharma of the Buddha, they have not reached the same state as the Tathagata, so they are like ordinary people, and the Buddha is their king. The merchant leader is the leader of all merchants, and the guide is the city of Nirvana, which is the summary of the three vehicles. It is the guide who leads those who want to go there without going astray. The city is the place of residence, that is, liberation. Immeasurable wisdom, inconceivable fearlessness, extremely pure speech, beautiful sound, body shape that never gets tired of seeing, body without equal, these six sentences show the means of benefiting others.
