The indicator is the Buddha, the Bhagavan. Repeating this statement again, there is no fault of repetition. This is because the former is to show the nature of merit, while here it is to understand the lord of the person who possesses the basis of merit. The Order of Extensive Explanation Now, the order of extensive explanation will be discussed. The summary is: abiding forever and the nature of the body, what to rely on and the means of action, where and how to act without attachment, must be determined in the collection of meanings. The Tathagata is the same cause of merits, the roots of virtue are not exhausted, these two sentences mean that he abides forever, that is, in the realm of no remainder, the merits will not be exhausted, and he always benefits sentient beings, showing that the merits of those in samsara will be exhausted after the fruition is ripe, and the merits of the hearers and self-realizers will also be exhausted in the realm of no remainder. Therefore, the same cause of merits is not permanent. The Buddha is the time when the Bodhisattva was in the past, and all the giving and so on were not dedicated to his own happiness, but to the liberation of all sentient beings. Therefore, it will not be exhausted until it is accomplished, and it is also cultivated equally with the realm of Dharma. Therefore, the cause and the descendants are the same, and the fruit will not be exhausted. As it is also said in the Uttaratantra: The cause is infinite and sentient beings are endless, love and incarnation, wisdom and perfection are possessed, the lord of Dharma destroys the demon of death, because there is no self-nature, the protector of the world is eternal. This should be remembered. Therefore, the roots of virtue are not exhausted, that is, the fruits of all the virtuous roots made in the past will not be interrupted. Adorned with patience, the basis of the treasures of merit, adorned with good signs, the flowers of the signs are in full bloom, the realm of practice (memory [appropriate] consistent, seeing is not contradictory) These six sentences show the difference in the nature of the body. Before, it was said that sentient beings are constantly benefiting. If you ask what kind of body is benefiting sentient beings, it is shown here, that is, the form body. The summary is:

Root, distinction, nature, and, temporary, functions are all perfect. Among them, the explanation of the root cause is: adorned with patience, by the power of patience, the body is extremely superior in size, and the color and shape are beautiful and perfect. The result of the cause being adorned with patience is that beauty itself is the meaning of adornment, naturally accomplished in the body. This is the result of abandoning the opposing factors—anger and resentment—and only cultivating the cause—patience. The so-called "basis of the treasury of merit" is the explanation of the cause of distinction. Each pore of the body can also accomplish ten times, ten times, etc., the accumulation of merit of all beings. Countless merits, individually, individually, the parts of the body and the marks and characteristics, etc., are individually accomplished. Here, the so-called "treasury" means immeasurable. This meaning can be understood in detail from the chapter on inexhaustible diligence in the Sutra Spoken by Inexhaustible Wisdom. From the perspective of nature, being adorned with excellent marks refers to the eighty minor marks, etc. The flowers of the marks bloom, referring to the thirty-two major marks, etc., showing the perfection of the body's own nature. The blooming of flowers is similar to the meaning of adornment, and adornment is its retinue, so it is the meaning of making the marks beautiful. Appropriate and harmonious behavior is temporary perfection. Whether walking or staying, etc., whatever is done, it is neither too hasty nor too slow, etc., and does not become the basis for others to see faults that are not beautiful. Seeing that there is no disharmony is the perfection of the body's function. Whether walking, staying, sleeping, begging for alms, watching, speaking, etc., there is never a feeling that this is a defilement, nor does it cause others to feel fear, sorrow, or attachment, etc. All actions related to the body, whether seen or heard, can generate faith, compassion, renunciation, diligence, and right view, as well as pacify suffering, etc., becoming solely the cause of others' virtue and leading to conviction.
