极其众多，必须反复游泳渡过。有一种生物名为斯萨拉谛，属于鳄鱼类，在藏地被称为水怪斯比尔，它也曾三次抓住我。但由于上师自身精进努力，并忆念上师，所以它也只是放开了我。此外，还有名为金嘎拉的生物，以及鱼类和水蛇等吞噬和穿刺我，所受的伤不计其数。据说对于所有这些，我连上师的咒语和药物都没有用过一次，所有咒语和药物等有益的方法都是从别人那里获得的。上师在那里住了三年，与五位殊胜的瑜伽士眷属和十二位明母一起，反复进行会供轮。由于其他旅行者众多，所以必须隐藏寂静处。由于那里的水生动物非常凶猛，虽然三年里身体受到了极大的锻炼，但心中却没有丝毫的厌倦。据说当时的所有眷属后来都获得了成就。之后，师徒二人乘船前往孟加拉。从初次见面到那时，上师没有给过一句口诀，因此请求在那里传授口诀。上师说：“不要贪图名利，要追随我。”刚一得到这个口诀，就说：“对于那个想要与上师争高下的人，伟大的金刚萨埵也会感到恐惧。”据说这是上师愤怒和不悦的表现，然后逃走了。虽然拼命追赶，但还是没有追上。七天里，在那个地方的各个方向寻找，也没有找到。之后，走了很远的路，向各个城市的人们询问，也没有人知道。就这样寻找了两个月也没有找到，于是在一个名为戈拉坦达的城市里，哭了七天，一边哭一边祈祷。在那里也没有出现，心想：‘现在这一生没有缘分了，就在这里死去吧！’于是从一个石崖上跳了下去，也没有伤到肢体，什么伤害也没有发生。在那里因为伤心而稍微停留了一会儿，一个认识的明母出现在那个方向，说：‘好徒弟，你在做什么？’因为上师的明母是上师，所以用头顶触碰她的脚。

Extremely numerous, it was necessary to swim and cross repeatedly. There was a creature called Sisarati, belonging to the crocodile family, known in Tibet as the water monster Spir, which also caught me three times. But because the master himself persevered and remembered the lama, it only released me. Furthermore, creatures called Kimkara, as well as fish and water snakes, devoured and pierced me, and the injuries were countless. It is said that for all of these, I did not use the lama's mantra or medicine even once, and all beneficial methods such as mantras and medicines were obtained from others. The master stayed there for three years, with five supreme yogis and twelve vidyadharis, repeatedly practicing the tsok khorlo (assembly wheel). Because there were many other travelers, it was necessary to hide the peace. Because the aquatic creatures there were very fierce, although the body was greatly trained for three years, there was not the slightest boredom in the heart. It is said that all the attendants at that time later attained siddhi (accomplishment). After that, the master and disciple traveled by boat to Bengal. From the first meeting until then, the master had not given a single instruction, so he asked for instructions to be given there. The master said, "Do not be greedy for gain and honor, but follow me." As soon as he received this instruction, he said, "Even the great Vajrasattva is afraid of the one who wants to compete with the master." It is said that this was an expression of the master's anger and displeasure, and then he ran away. Although he ran desperately, he could not catch up. For seven days, he searched in all directions of that place, but could not find him. After that, he went a long way and asked the people in various cities, but no one knew. After searching for two months without finding him, he stayed in a city called Goratanda, crying and praying for seven days. He did not appear there either, and he thought, 'Now I have no karma in this life, I will die here!' So he jumped from the top of a rocky cliff, but did not injure his limbs or suffer any harm. He stayed there for a while, saddened, when a vidyadhari he knew appeared in that direction and said, 'Good disciple, what are you doing?' Because the master's vidyadhari was the lama, he touched her feet with his head.
