He went before him. The king prostrated. The teacher, as if angry, threw the food container on the ground. From under the ground came the daughter of the Naga king, and she offered many implements to the king. The king also knew that the teacher was an accomplished one. He fashioned two caves in the rocky mountain, resembling temples. In one, the teacher and his two female attendants, three in total, resided. In the other, three hundred people stayed. That boy was also able to bestow many siddhis: from his eyes came eye medicine, from his ears came musk, from his mouth came swords, from his nose came swift boots, from his vajra came gold-transforming elixir, and from his lower gate came essence extraction. The three of them sat on one cushion, and until Maitreya comes, they will work for the benefit of beings. That place is also called Tsampa Tsarpati. It is said that even now, if one prays, one quickly obtains siddhis. His disciple was the accomplished Kakkutipa. It is said that he also received the outer empowerments from the great teacher Lui-pa. However, it does not seem entirely certain that he was Lui-pa. Then, having received all the instructions and subsequent instructions from the accomplished Tsarpati-pa, he practiced and resided in charnel grounds. When he went to the city with twelve yoginis, he transformed them into dogs and departed. Therefore, he was known as Kakkutipa. It is said that actually two different Kakkutipas appeared. His disciple was Mina-pa. He was a fisherman from Kamarupa in eastern India. Because he was somewhat accustomed to the fisherman's winds, once, he put a hook in a fish and pulled it, but the fish pulled him in and swallowed him. There, due to the power of karma and the fisherman's practice of wind yoga, he did not die. The river called Rohita, which is now the Tibetan river, is the one that reaches Kamarupa. There is a small mountain there called Uma Giri, where the god Shiva explained the teachings of wind yoga to Uma. When the fish went into the river, the fisherman in the fish's belly heard these teachings and practiced them, thereby obtaining many qualities. Once, the fishermen caught that fish and butchered it, and a man emerged. At that time, the previous king had also passed away. His own son, who had just been born, was also thirteen years old there. In general, he stayed in the fish's belly for twelve years. Then, he went to the teacher Tsarpati-pa, and both father and son received the teachings.

Then he inquired and meditated, and both of them attained accomplishment. The father was known as the accomplished Mina-pa, and the son was called the accomplished Machin Drawa. The disciples of the accomplished Mina-pa were Haliba, the farmer; Maliba, the gardener; and Tamboliba, the distiller, thus three accomplished ones appeared. The disciples of Machin Drawa were Cho Rang Gipa and Goraksha Natha. The first one was a king's son. Once, when the king had gone to another country, there was a young queen who fell in love with the prince's handsome appearance. She came to the prince many times, but the prince did not accept her love. Therefore, she became angry, and when the king returned, she sat there with her clothes torn, her head covered in ashes, and blood flowing from her limbs. When the king asked what was wrong, she said, "This was done by the son of the gods. He came to me seeking love, and when I did not accept, he did this to me." After that, without investigating, the king cut off the limbs of his innocent son and threw him in a very low-lying place, under a tree along a road where many people walked. There, the teacher Machin Drawa appeared, and the prince told him his story. The teacher said, "I can provide for your life, can you meditate for twelve years?" The prince agreed. Then the teacher Machin Drawa said to one of his wealthy cowherd disciples, "Under that tree over there, there is a person who has had his limbs cut off. You must provide him with food for twelve years." The cowherd did as he was told. Finally, when twelve years had passed, many merchants were traveling on that road at night. Cho Rang Gipa asked them who they were. Fearing that they were spies of the king, they said, "We are coal sellers." Cho Rang Gipa said, "Then let all your goods turn into coal." When the merchants arrived at the market and displayed their goods, everything had turned into coal. They asked each other what had happened and realized that it was the power of Cho Rang Gipa's words. Those merchants went back to Cho Rang Gipa to apologize and plead for forgiveness. Cho Rang Gipa said, "Then let it be as it was before."
