It is said that in Tibet, Guhyapa transmitted the teachings to Antarba. Some believe that Antarba then transmitted the teachings to Tilopa. Although it is not explicitly stated here, this seems reasonable considering the overall timeline and the order of the lineage. Additionally, a practitioner transmitted the teachings to Gewai Gonpo, who temporarily worked as a minister and meditated, gaining some clairvoyance. Once, while he was in the presence of the king, he saw with his clairvoyance that a cat was licking the yogurt he had placed in his shrine, so he signaled to drive it away. When the king asked him why, he answered truthfully. The king, knowing that he had attained accomplishment, revered him as an object of veneration. Soon, the king also attained the five clairvoyances. The minister became a great lord of yoga. He also transmitted the teachings to Tilopa. The venerable Tilopa was born into a Brahmin family in the city of Tsatighapo in the east. When he grew up, he became proficient in all the treatises of the Brahmin tradition. Once, while he was going to beg in some places, he eventually saw monks dwelling in a monastery, renouncing the world. He developed faith in them and became a monk. He also understood the three baskets of scripture. He received mandala initiation from the two aforementioned teachers and listened to all the teachings. Through practice, he soon developed special wisdom and directly saw countless accomplished saints. He conversed with them and further received teachings. Because he always directly saw the assembly of glorious Heruka and dakinis, and was blessed by them, his wisdom continued to grow. Later, he acted together with a field yogini, a sesame-grinding woman, and was therefore expelled from the monastery by the monks. He worked as a sesame grinder in the city. Because he had previously been a Brahmin pandita and later became a bhikshu, his original great fame and fortune disappeared. Because he became the master of the sesame-grinding woman, he was called Tilopa, and his name also changed to sesame grinder. After that, he practiced and resided in various fields, and in places such as Oddiyana, he received all the teachings of the dakinis. Therefore, he did the work of grinding sesame, just as oil comes from sesame, the lama's

By striking the body at its vital points with the syllable Nā (ना, nā, syllable Nā), he realized the arising of co-emergent wisdom, and all his actions became self-introductions, attaining supreme accomplishment. He also saw the faces of all the Buddhas of the ten directions at once. Then, wishing to show his realization to others, on another occasion, in the city's marketplaces, he sang his realization as a song, causing all beings to be in doubt. Once, in a city of Bengal, hundreds of thousands of people came to see the master. The master, together with his consort, was pounding sesame seeds in the sky like a person. Each person asked a question, and in response, he sang a song of realization. It is said that most of the people gathered there also understood the meaning and attained accomplishment. There he was known as the accomplished Tilopa, and after working for the benefit of beings for a long time, he departed to the realm of the Dakinis without abandoning his body. His disciples were Rolpai Dorje and Naropa. The former's story is not mentioned here; it seems to be in the Dharma cycle of Mitra Jogi. In the biographies of Chakrasamvara according to the traditions of Mar do and Purang Lochung, and in the Hevajra biography of Jyalpa, Gautama Shishya is also said to be a supreme disciple. Naropa was born into a Brahmin family in the land of Kashmir. From a young age, he became a Pandit of the Tirthikas (non-Buddhists). There, he became a secret mantra practitioner of the Tirthikas, abandoning the conduct of a Brahmin. He became an Avadhuti. Once, he went to the house of a wine-selling woman, where there was a young Buddhist monk. Unable to bear Naropa's power, he fled. Seeing that a Sutra text was left behind, he became very devoted to the Dharma. He went to the central region, took ordination in the Buddhist teachings, and became a great Pandit. There, he guarded the northern gate of Nalanda and Vikramashila. There, he defeated the Tirthikas, extensively engaging in listening and teaching. His mind was never at peace even for a moment, and every night he constantly meditated on the wheel of Chakrasamvara. Many Dakinis showed their faces and said: 'In the east, there is a master named Tilopa, go to him, truly...'
