He lived with about twenty monks who were very pure. It is said that because they were persecuted by other monks, they flew to the Pure Land of Manifest Joy with their physical bodies. Also, the lay practitioner Dana Bhadra, that is, Generosity the Excellent, and Langadeva appeared, and they drew ten thousand images of the Tathagata's body, and built ten thousand each of statues made of stone, wood, clay, and precious jewels. They also built that many stupas, and offered ten flags each to each one. Also, the lay practitioner Habhuja gave grain, food, clothing, gold, horses, and cattle, etc., to all the beggars in the four directions for fifteen years. Finally, he gave away male and female servants, sons and wives, and even the house itself, and meditated in a forest, and obtained forbearance of the Dharma of Non-arising. He taught the Dharma to the disciples, and it is said that he went to Sukhavati with his physical body. Also, the lay monk Uma's Wisdom appeared, and he transformed into forms that were in accordance with the various non-Buddhists, and first explained their treatises, and then secretly inserted the stages of the path of selflessness and great compassion in between them, and finally, without them noticing, changed their tenets, so that they entered Buddhism. He could even show many bodies at once, and in this way, he caused nearly hundreds of thousands of non-Buddhists to enter the Buddha's teachings. Therefore, I think that those teachers appeared around the time before Nagarjuna. And the others, from the flourishing of the Mahayana until the Glorious Dharmakirti, it is certain that they appeared, but the way of organizing them at the same time as those mentioned before is not clear. The history of the flourishing of the Dharma in the south, from the story that appears in the Garland of Flowers, is the forty-first chapter. ༄། །Forty-second. A chapter on slightly examining the meaning of the four sections. All the Sangha communities mentioned above are only separated from the four sections and the eighteen sections. If we just mention the classification of them, there is no disagreement in explaining the views and practices of each of the eighteen sections, but they split.

Various different views arose regarding the tenets. Among them, the Sthavira school's assertion is: Initially, it split into the Sthavira and the Mahāsāṃghika. The Mahāsāṃghika further split into: the Mahāsāṃghika fundamental school, the Ekavyāvahārika, the Lokottaravāda, the Bahuśrutīya, the Cetiyavāda, the Pūrvaśaila, and the Aparasaila, totaling eight schools.\ The Sthavira also split into: the Sthavira fundamental school, the Sarvāstivāda, the Vātsīputrīya, the Dharmottarīya, the Bhadrayānīya, the Saṃmitīya, the Mahāsāṃghika, the Dharmaguptaka, the Kāśyapīya, and the Sautrāntika, totaling ten schools. This is their assertion. Furthermore, the Mahāsāṃghika's assertion is: Initially, it split into the Sthavira, the Mahāsāṃghika, and the Vibhajyavāda, three schools. The Sthavira further split into the Sarvāstivāda and the Vātsīputrīya, two schools. The Sarvāstivāda further split into the Mūlasarvāstivāda and the Sautrāntika.\ The Vātsīputrīya further split into the Saṃmitīya, the Dharmottarīya, the Bhadrayānīya, and the Six Cities school. The Mahāsāṃghika further split into the Mahāsāṃghika proper, the Pūrvaśaila, the Aparasaila, the Rājagiriya, the Himavat, the Cetiyavāda, the Siddhārthaka, and the Vatsīputrīya, totaling eight schools. The Vibhajyavāda further split into:\ 16-643 The Hetuvāda, the Dharmaguptaka, the Dharmaguptaka, and the Kāśyapīya, totaling four schools. This is their assertion.\ The Saṃmitīya's assertion is: The Mahāsāṃghika has six schools, namely the Mahāsāṃghika proper, the Ekavyāvahārika, the Vatsīputrīya, the Bahuśrutīya, the Cetiyavāda. The Sarvāstivāda has seven schools, namely the Mūlasarvāstivāda, the Vibhajyavāda, the Mahāsāṃghika, the Dharmaguptaka, the Kāśyapīya, and the Saṃkrantika. The Vātsīputrīya has four schools, namely the Vātsīputrīya fundamental school, the Dharmottarīya, the Bhadrayānīya, and the Saṃmitīya.\ The Himavat has no branches. Thus, the fundamental schools that initially split are: the Mahāsāṃghika, the Sarvāstivāda, the Vātsīputrīya, and the Himavat.\ The Sarvāstivāda's assertion is:
