May faith in the supreme ones greatly increase! Also, may one come to know the difference between valid and invalid sources of various doctrines. This is the purpose of this (text). May faith in the sacred Dharma also increase! Also, whatever good deeds are performed by those who uphold the teachings of the learned and accomplished ones, to ascertain those is also the purpose of this (text). Having faith in the path and the individual, when one enters into the Dharma of that (path and individual), to ultimately attain Buddhahood is said to be the special thing to do. By this merit, may all sentient beings 16-652 enter into this virtuous conduct, and become unsurpassed Buddhas, adorned with all qualities! This, called "The Wish-Fulfilling Source," which clearly shows how the precious sacred Dharma, the source of glory, flourished in the noble land, was composed by Jamyangpa Tāranātha, at the age of thirty-four, in the Earth-Male-Monkey year (Earth Monkey year) on Thursday, at Drakto Chökyi Podrang, at the urging of some interested people, and also seeing that it would benefit others. May the precious teachings flourish and spread in all directions and remain for a long time! Like the Prajñāpāramitā, the mother of the Buddhas, the source of the four noble ones, (this explains) how the sacred Dharma arose in the noble land. Like the pure words of the oral instructions of the noble and learned ones, this was composed as if directly perceived by noble wisdom. Those who desire liberation should listen with one mind, but like a treasure buried underground, one only sees the book but does not understand. The Lama Jamyang opened the door of wisdom and compassion, and showered a new and excellent rain of Dharma gifts. [The root of benefit and happiness for all beings is unparalleled, in this great monastery of all the Buddhas, may you, the protector, remain for hundreds of kalpas, and look upon us sentient beings with compassion. The reincarnation of the second Buddha, the omniscient Jonangpa, Jetsun Yönten Zangpo, in the year 1995, in order to further enhance the undiminished Buddha's teachings, in the great monastery of Zamtang Tsangba, with the pure white light of the merit of creating the woodblock edition of the collected works of the omniscient Tāranātha, may all beings who have not been our mothers attain perfect Buddhahood.
