In those islands, the Dharma has flourished since ancient times, and it continues to flourish greatly to this day. On the island of Simhala, there are also various kinds of Mahayana practitioners. Mostly they are Sravakas. Even now, at the festival of the Buddha's footprint called Śrī Pada, about twelve thousand monks gather, and they are mostly Sravakas. Dhana Śrī and Bayigu also have some Mahayana practitioners. The other islands are only places to be tamed by the Sravakas. On the island of Roling, there was previously no authentic Dharma, so the master Padmasambhava first established it. Marme Dze Zangpo also came. From then on, for about a hundred years, many Vajra holders from Magadha, Udyana, Kashmir, and other places came and especially made the Tantric vehicle flourish. Previously, during the time of King Dharma Bala, the lineages of the Tantras that had been hidden and disappeared in India, and the lineages that had been invited from Oḍiyāna, many of which did not exist in India. Even now, the authentic teachings of the four classes of Secret Tantras are flourishing as in the past, and there are also some Vinaya, Abhidharma, and Perfection of Wisdom treatises. In the southern part of India, since Magadha was destroyed by the Turushkas, many Dharma centers that were not very large have been established in places such as Vidyānāgara, Konkana, Malyara, and Kalinga. Although the number of monks is not very large, the tradition of teaching and practice has continued without interruption. The Pandit known as "Sun of Men" was also born in Kalinga, one of the Trilingas. Similarly, in the southwestern kingdoms, since King Karna established the Dharma, later, when Magadha was destroyed by the Turushkas, Jñana Akara Gupta and others made it flourish. Many Dharma centers were established in Maru, Mewar, Chittor, Bhuva, Abu, Saurashtra, Gujarat, and other places, and there are still many Sanghas. In particular, later, through the power of the blessings of the great accomplished master Shiwaba, the Dharma was newly established in Khagendra and the Piggje mountain range. During the time of King Rama Chandra, the Sanghas were offered many things. His son Bala Bhadra built many temples, as well as Śrī Ratna Gi Ri and

And many places such as Ita, Ozana, Urbas, etc. Also, many Dharma bases were established from all aspects. It is said that there were about two thousand newly ordained monks in that area. The genuine teachings of both Sutra and Tantra, explanation and practice, were especially flourishing and developing. The fortieth is the story of how the teachings arose in the islands and how they flourished again in the south and other regions. Forty-first, the story of the spread of Dharma in the south, from the chapter of the Garland of Flowers. I have not seen a compilation of the royal histories of Kashmir, the South, and the land of Koki. A brief account of the spread of Dharma in the southern region, and the deeds of the kings who perfectly accomplished the work for sentient beings, etc., called "Garland of Flowers," written by the Brahmin Manomati, states as follows: In the southern region of Kanchi, during the reign of a king named Shukla Raja and Chandra Shobha, there appeared someone who could control most of the birds, such as Garuda, from the ocean islands. Those birds offered medicines, jewels, and special products of marine life. With those items, they would offer to two thousand Sanghas. Eventually, for the benefit of the birds, a temple was built. Even now, birds from the ocean islands always reside there, so that temple is called Pangki Tirtha. Also, during the reign of the three kings Wangje, Deje, and Yiong, they offered one umbrella each day to a thousand stupas, along with countless offerings. Also, during the reign of the three kings Bhoga Suvala (i.e., enjoying beautiful hair), his son Moon Troop, and his son Deje Senge Troop, the elixir for transmuting gold was accomplished. Whoever came to beg was given one gold coin. Whether it was a monk or a layperson, they offered items worth five hundred silver panas. It is not very clear where these events occurred, but it seems that they mostly occurred in the Konkuna region. Deje Senge had three sons, the eldest named Vyaghra Raja, meaning a king with eyes like a tiger.
