Sa. The noble mother and her five attendants, riding on a Garuda, appeared in the sky in front, causing the nagas to flee in fear. They safely arrived at the ship Dhanaśrī. There, they made offerings to the auspicious Dhanyakataka Stupa, and built one hundred and eight temples of Tara, and one hundred and eight temples of the noble Avalokiteśvara. They went to Mount Potala and still reside there without abandoning their physical body. The letter sent to the disciple is: A renunciant, the king's son named Rinchen Drakpa, was entrusted to merchants from Potala to be delivered. It is said that upon seeing the letter, he practiced according to the Dharma. Thus, the early period of the lives of the glorious Chandrakirti and Chandragomin was the time when Kings Simha and Bhaṛṣa ruled, and it is known to be the early period of Dharmapala as well. The meeting of Chandrakirti and Chandragomin at Nalanda, etc., was during their later years, and the time when the teacher Dharmapala worked for the benefit of beings was during the time of King Simha V. This is the story of the time of King Ngangtsul, the twenty-fourth. The twenty-fifth. The story of the time of King Yova and Simha V, etc. Shortly after the death of Kings Bhaṛṣa and Simhachandra, a powerful king named Yova appeared in the west in Malava, who almost became an enemy of King Ngangtsul. He ruled for thirty years and died at the same time as King Ngangtsul. In the east, the son of Bhaṛṣa, a very powerful king named Simha V, appeared. King Balachandra, the son of Simhachandra, was expelled from Bangala and ruled in Tirahuti. King Simha V ruled over northern Tibet, southern Tilinga, western Varanasi, and eastern regions up to the ocean. At that time, there were Dulwa De, a disciple of the Supreme Assembly; Drol De, a monk in Magadha; Yonten Lodro, a follower of the Abhidharma school and a disciple of Yonten Ö; the teacher Dharmapala; Wangchuk De; the omniscient friend in Kashmir; and the younger son of King Bhaṛṣa in Magadha, a king named Gyalwa, who, although his territory was small, had very great wealth.

also appeared. In the south, all the places near the Vindhya mountains were ruled by a king named Metok (Flower). King Yowa built one temple in each of the four directions of the palace. For twelve years, all the four types of Sangha that appeared were provided with food, clothing, and necessities, as well as fine items, totaling two hundred thousand in all. King Singhawarman offered to both internal and external, and established about twenty Buddhist centers and built many stupas. King Galava offered to all the scholars of Nalanda Monastery, such as Chandrakirti and Chandragomin, and donated one hundred and eight golden vases filled with pearls to the temple fund. He made excellent offerings to all the temples and stupas of Magadha. Detailed histories of the Dulva and Bhikshu Vimukti sects have not been seen. In one temple, the Dulva sect built a statue of Maitreya Natha. The statue manifested and said, "To help benefit sentient beings, also build an Arya Tara statue." It is said that Chandragomin was invited to build the Tara statue. Later, these two deities were invited to the God Mountain due to the threat of Rushka, where they remained until the future. Similarly, the Bhikshu Vimukti sect practiced Maitreya Natha, and ten years passed without any signs. After inquiring with the teacher Chandrakirti, the teacher advised to perform a fire puja to purify sins. It is said that after offering twelve hundred thousand fire offerings, the face of Maitreya Natha was seen in the fire altar. The teacher Guna Mati was proficient in all fields of knowledge, and he followed the footsteps of Buddhi Sena and wrote a commentary on the Abhidharmakosha, as well as a commentary refuting Lekden. Lekden's disciple Sampraduta also lived at the same time as him. It is said that Guna Mati had a long debate with the easterners in Puri and eventually won. The teacher Dharmapala was born in the south and came from a family of poets. It is said that he was a great poet from the time he was a layman and knew almost all internal and external doctrines. He was ordained by the teacher Dharma Rakshita and listened to the Vinaya.
