ན་བརྫངས་ཏེ། འཕགས་པ་པ་ཊ་ལི་པུ་ཏྲར་ བྱོན་ཏེ་བདག་གི་སྡིག་པ་སྦྱོང་བར་ཞུ། གལ་ཏེ་འཕགས་པ་འདིར་མི་འབྱོན་ན་བདག་དེར་ འོང་ངོ་ཞེས་བྱས་པས། རྒྱལ་པོ་དེར་བྱུང་ན་སྐྱེ་བོ་མང་པོ་ལ་གནོད་པར་མཁྱེན་ནས། དགྲ་ བཅོམ་པ་གྲགས་པ་ཉིད་པ་ཊ་ལི་པུ་ཏྲར་བྱོན་ཏེ། ཉིན་རེ་བཞིན་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཐད་དུ་ཆོས་བསྟན། མཚན་རེ་བཞིན་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དུ་བྱོན་ནས་འཁོར་རྣམ་པ་བཞི་ལ་གདམས་ངག་འབོགས་ སོ། །གང་གི་ཚེ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་གྲགས་པ་དང་མཇལ་བ་ཕྱིན་ཆད་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་དེ་ཤིན་ཏུ་དད་ པ་ཆེ་བར་གྱུར་ནས། ཉིན་མཚན་དུ་དགེ་བའི་བྱ་བ་ཁོ་ནས་དུས་འདའ་སྟེ། ཉིན་རེ་བཞིན་དགེ་ སློང་ཁྲི་ཁྲག་གསུམ་གསུམ་མཆོད་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །བར་སྐབས་དེར་སྒྲ་བཅོམ་པ་གྲགས་པའི་མ་ ག་དྷཱ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ཡུལ་གཞན་དུ་བཞུགས་པའི་སྐབས་ཤིག རྒྱལ་པོས་ཚོང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་ ནོར་བུའི་གླིང་ནས་ནོར་བུ་ལེན་པར་མངགས་ནས། དེ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་གྲུ་ལེགས་པར་གྲུབ་ སྟེ། རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་ཚོགས་པས་བཀང་ནས་ཚུར་འོངས། རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཚུར་འགྲམ་དུ་ངལ་གསོ་ཞིང་ བསྡད་པ་ལས། ཀླུ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་མཚོ་རླབས་བཏང་སྟེ་ཟོང་ཐམས་ཅད་རྒྱ་མཚོར་ཁྱེར་རོ། །དེ་ ནས་དེ་རྣམས་འཚོ་བ་གཞན་ལ་རག་ལས་ཤིང་རིམ་གྱིས་འོངས་པས། ནམ་ཞིག་ན་ཞག་ 16-445 བདུན་ན་ཚོང་པ་རྣམས་པ་ཊ་ལི་པུ་ཏྲར་སླེབ་བར་གྲགས་ཤིང་། དེ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཇི་ལྟར་གྱུར་ པའི་གཏམ་མ་ཐོས་པས་བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་། ཀུན་ཏུ་རྒྱུ་དང་། སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་པ་དག་ འདུས་ཏེ། ནོར་བུ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཁ་དོག་དང་ངོ་མཚར་བའི་ཡོན་ཏན་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་མཐོང་བར་ འགྱུར་རོ་ཞེས་ཞག་བདུན་པའི་ཉིན་པར་རྒྱལ་པོ་སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་དག་བཅས་པ་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་ དུ་སོང་བ་ལས་ཚོང་པ་དེ་དག་སྟོད་གཡོགས་ཁོ་ན་བཅས་ཤིང་ཉམ་ཐག་པས་འོངས་པ་ན། ཧ་ ཅང་མ་རིགས་ཏེ་གད་མོས་བཏབ་ནས་སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་རྣམས་གྱེས་སོ། །རྒྱལ་པོས་རྒྱུ་དྲིས་ པས། ཚོང་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ལོ་རྒྱུས་བཤད་དོ། །ལྷའི་འདི་ལ་སླར་ཡང་ཀླུ་རྣམས་ཐུལ་འོག་ཏུ་ ཆུད་པ་མ་མཛད་ན་ཕྱིན་ཆད་ནོར་བུ་ལེན་པར་སྤྲོ་བ་སུ་ཡང་མི་འབྱུང་བས། ལྷས་ཐབས་ མཛད་པར་རིགས་སོ་ཞེས་བསྐུལ། དེར་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཡིད་ཁོང་དུ་ཆུད་ཅིང་མཁས་པ་རྣམས་ལ་ ཐབས་དྲིས་པ་ན། བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་། ཀུན་ཏུ་རྒྱུ་ལ་སོགས་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་མ་ཤེས། དེར་དགྲ་ བཅོམ་པ་མངོན་པར་ཤེས་པ་དྲུག་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཅིག་གིས་བསམས་པ་ན། དེའི་ཐབས་ལྷས་ སྟོན་པར་འགྱུར་བ་ཡང་ཤེས། གལ་ཏེ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་བསྟན་ན། འ

于是派遣使者，前往圣地华氏城（梵文：Pāṭaliputra，梵文罗马拟音：Pāṭaliputra，汉语字面意思：巴连弗邑），请求说：请您消除我的罪恶。如果圣者不来这里，我就去那里。国王知道如果他去那里，会给很多人带来危害。于是阿罗汉名称吉祥亲自前往华氏城（梵文：Pāṭaliputra，梵文罗马拟音：Pāṭaliputra，汉语字面意思：巴连弗邑），每天都为国王说法，每晚都前往精舍，向四众弟子传授教诲。自从与阿罗汉名称吉祥相见之后，国王变得非常虔诚，日夜都以行善为乐，每天供养三万三千比丘。在此期间，阿罗汉名称吉祥在摩揭陀（梵文：Magadha，梵文罗马拟音：Magadha，汉语字面意思：摩揭陀）等其他地方居住。国王派遣大约五百名商人前往宝洲取宝，他们也建造了精良的船只，装满了各种珍宝返回。在海的这边岸边休息时，龙族掀起海浪，将所有货物都卷入海中。之后，他们依靠其他生计，逐渐前来。不知何时，据说七天后商人们将抵达华氏城（梵文：Pāṭaliputra，梵文罗马拟音：Pāṭaliputra，汉语字面意思：巴连弗邑）。由于没有听到他们遭遇的事情，婆罗门、自在游行者和无数民众聚集在一起，心想：我们将看到那些宝物的颜色和奇妙的功德。在第七天，国王与民众一同前往花园，看到那些商人只穿着上衣，非常疲惫地前来，感到非常不吉利，于是大笑起来，民众也纷纷散去。国王询问原因，商人们讲述了事情的经过。他们劝说道：天神啊，如果不再次将龙族置于控制之下，以后没有人愿意去取宝了，请天神想个办法。国王听后心中不悦，向智者们询问办法，婆罗门和自在游行者等都不知道。当时，一位具有六神通的阿罗汉心想：其方法也将由天神来指示。如果阿罗汉亲自指示，

Then he sent a messenger to the holy city of Pāṭaliputra, requesting, "Please purify my sins. If the holy one does not come here, I will go there." The king knew that if he went there, it would harm many people. So the Arhat Named Auspicious himself went to Pāṭaliputra and taught the Dharma to the king every day. Every night he went to the monastery and gave instructions to the fourfold assembly. From the time he met the Arhat Named Auspicious, the king became very devout and spent his days and nights doing only virtuous deeds, offering to thirty-three thousand monks every day. During that time, the Arhat Named Auspicious was residing in other places such as Magadha. The king sent about five hundred merchants to the Isle of Gems to collect gems. They built excellent ships and filled them with various jewels and returned. While resting on the shore of the sea, the nagas sent waves and carried all the goods into the sea. Then, they relied on other livelihoods and gradually came. Sometime later, it was said that the merchants would arrive in Pāṭaliputra in seven days. Since they had not heard what had happened to them, Brahmins, wandering ascetics, and countless people gathered, thinking, "We will see the colors and wonderful qualities of those jewels." On the seventh day, the king went to the garden with the people, and when he saw the merchants coming with only their upper garments and in great distress, he felt very inauspicious and laughed, and the people dispersed. The king asked the reason, and the merchants told the story. They urged, "O god, if you do not subdue the nagas again, no one will be willing to collect gems in the future. It is appropriate for the god to devise a method." The king was displeased and asked the wise men for a method, but the Brahmins and wandering ascetics did not know. At that time, an Arhat with six superknowledges thought, "The method will also be shown by the god. If the Arhat himself shows it,
