Sa 16-325 Saṃsāra, etc., and the scene of the nāga prostrating at the feet. In early Kashmiri and Nepali original paintings, the nāga is depicted as a deity with blue skin, a snake-headed crown, and holding a sword. On one hand, the sage Od-srung (Kashyapa) is invited, and the Teacher puts the nāga in the bowl and carries it; on the other hand, many sages are unable to ignite the fire, and the Teacher makes it self-ignite; the Brahmins try to extinguish the fire but cannot, and the Teacher makes it self-extinguish; above is also Od-srung; in the presence of the Bhagavan, the Four Great Kings listen to the Dharma with their bodies ablaze with fire; also Indra listens to the Dharma in the same way; Brahma also listens in the same way. All three of them are watching from the doorway of Od-srung's grass hut. On the other hand, many people prostrate to Od-srung, and gather to offer many items, and the sage himself performs fire offerings and sacrifices. The Buddha goes to another direction. On the other hand, in a place where a sage is alone surrounded by much food and wealth, the Buddha comes. The Buddha gives the sage Od-srung large fruits, small fruits, and unmentioned grain fruits and ghee from the bowl, and also gives the nectar of the gods.
