Offering, and then again under a tree, the Bhagavan resided. Under another tree, Ananda was staying, and in front of the Bhagavan, the wicked Mara was staying with folded hands, and there were signs of earthquakes, water turbulence, mountains shaking, houses tilting, and so on. Also, on one side of that, a monk gathered all the monks and assembled in front of the Teacher to listen to the Dharma, and then they went to the other shore, looking back at Vaishali. This is the section on the completion of the beings to be tamed in Rajagriha and Vaishali. ༄། །Section on showing the approach of Nirvana. (ཡི) Then they went to Ruta Village, Dumba Village, Amra Village, Jambu Village, Rzi Village, Shurpa Village, Lungsyong Village, and the eight small villages, and stayed in the Shapa Grove. There also occurred earthquakes, shooting stars fell, and the directions turned red and burned. From the sky, the gods beat drums. Then they went to the land of the wicked giant. The Teacher and his entourage were on their way, and they stayed in a garden called Jalu Daka, which was like a pleasure grove. Giants and many people came and listened to the Dharma in front of the Teacher. On one side of that, the blacksmith's son requested to become a monk. Then again on one side, in the courtyard of Tsunda's house, the Bhagavan and his entourage received good rice with fruit from an iron bowl. Then the Teacher and his entourage went to another place and crossed a river. Not long after, they showed the posture of sleeping. Ananda took water from that river in a begging bowl. Many chariots went to the other side of the river, and they washed their feet in that river. Then, while walking on the road, they met an entourage with many giants and servants. The Teacher taught him, and he offered a golden double-layered garment and put it on the body. Then, to symbolize that the Teacher's body was very bright, countless rays of light shone, and the monks expressed their doubts about this. Then they entered a river and bathed, and stayed on the riverbank with only one garment, dispelling Tsunda's doubts, the river.
