ན་པ་ལ་བཀོད་ནས་ཚུར་ཤོག་གིས་བསྙེན་པར་རྫོགས་ནས་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ ཐོབ་བོ། ། ༄། །རེ་དྲུག་པ་ཚོང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་གཉིས། རེ་དྲུག་པ་ཚོང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་གཉིས་ནི། ཡང་མཉན་ཡོད་ནས་ཚོང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཟོང་ཁྱེར་ ཏེ་ཡུལ་གཞན་དུ་སོང་སོང་བ་ལས་ནགས་ཁྲོད་ཆེན་པོ་གཅིག་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་པ་ན། དེ་ན་གནས་ པའི་གནོད་སྦྱིན་གདུག་པ་ཅན་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་རླུང་ནག་ཆེན་པོ་མུན་སྲོས་པ་ལྟ་བུ་བཏང་ཞིང་། འཇིགས་པའི་གཟུགས་སྣ་ཚོགས་པ་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་བསྟན་ཏེ་ཚོང་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཐོག་ཏུ་རྒྱུགས་ པ་ན། ཚོང་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཆེས་སྐྲག་སྟེ་ལྷའོ་ཅོག་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ། །དེར་དགེ་བསྙེན་ ཞིག་ཡོད་པས། ཀྱཻ་སྐྱབས་མ་ཡིན་པ་ལ་སྐྱབས་བཙལ་བས་ཅི་བྱ། སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་ འདས་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་སོངས་ཤིག །ཅེས་སྨྲས་པས་དེ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས། སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་ཕྱག་ འཚལ་ལོ་བདག་ཅག་སྐྱབས་ཏུ་གསོལ། ཞེས་བརྗོད་པས། དེ་རྣམས་འདུལ་བའི་དུས་ལ་ བབ་པར་དགོངས་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་གླང་པོ་ཆེའི་སྣ་ཞགས་ལྟ་བུའི་ཕྱག་བརྐྱངས་ ཏེ་ནགས་ཁྲོད་དེ་ནས་ཚོང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་རྫས་དང་བཅས་པ་བླངས་ཏེ་མཉན་ཡོད་དང་ཉེ་བར་ འཇོག་པར་མཛད་དོ། །ཚོང་པ་དེ་རྣམས་ཡུལ་དུ་སླེབ་པ་ན། སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་དད་པས་བཅོམ་ ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་སྤྱན་སྔར་སོང་སྟེ་འཁོད་པ་ལ་ཆོས་བསྟན་པས་རྒྱུན་དུ་ཞུགས་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་ ཐོབ་ཅིང་ཆེད་དུ་བརྗོད་པའང་བྱས་ལ་ཚུར་ཤོག་གིས་བསྙེན་པར་རྫོགས་ཤིང་། ཇི་ལྟར་ལུང་ ཕོག་པ་ལྟར་བསྒོམས་པས་མི་རིང་བར་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་མངོན་དུ་བྱས་སོ། །དེ་ བཞིན་དུ་ཚོང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་རྒྱ་མཚོར་སོང་བ་རླུང་གིས་བདས་ཤིང་རླབས་ཀྱིས་བསྐྱོད་ནས། རྒྱ་ མཚོའི་དབུས་ཀྱི་བྲག་རིའི་སུལ་དུ་མཁར་བ་ལེགས་པར་{བསྐྱངས་[བསྐྱབས་]ནས་དགྲ་ བཅོམ་པའི་བར་དུ་ཐོབ་པའི་གཏམ་རྒྱུད་ཀྱང་ཡོད་དོ། ། 16-170 ༄། །རེ་བདུན་པ་ལྷ་ལས་བབས་པ། རེ་བདུན་པ་ལྷ་ལས་བབས་པ་ནི། གང་གི་ཚེ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱིས་ ཆོ་འཕྲུལ་ཆེན་པོ་བསྟན་པ་དེ་ཕྱིན་ཆད་ལྷ་དང་མི་རྣམས་སངས་རྒྱས་གྱི་བསྟན་པ་ཁོ་ན་ལ་ མངོན་པར་དད་དོ། །དེར་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་རྙེད་བཀུར་མང་ཞིང་ཆེས་མང་བས། སོ་སོ་སྐྱེ་བོ་ རྣམས་ཀྱི་སྤོང་བ་ལ་བར་དུ་གཅོད་པར་གྱུར་པ་གཟིགས་ནས། འབྱོར་བ་དང་རྙེད་བཀུར་མང་ ཆེས་པ་དེ་ཉིད་རྒྱུན་བཅད་པའི་ཕྱིར་དང་། ཡུམ་ལྷའི་གནས་སུ་སྐྱེ་བ་བཞེས་པ་དེ་ཉིད་བདེན་ པ་ལ་འགོད་པའི་ཕྱིར་དུ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པ་རི་རབ་ཀྱི་རྩེ་མོ་ལྷའི་ གནས་

There, the evil Yakshas living there sent a great black wind like a dark night, and manifested various terrifying forms, rushing towards the merchants. All the merchants were very frightened and prayed to the gods. At that time, there was a layperson who said, "Alas! What is the use of seeking refuge in those who are not protectors? Go and take refuge in the Buddha, the Bhagavan!" Hearing this, everyone said, "We prostrate to the Buddha! We beseech you to protect us!" The Bhagavan, thinking that the time to tame them had come, stretched out his hand like an elephant's trunk and took the five hundred merchants with their possessions from that forest and placed them near Shravasti. When the merchants arrived in their homeland, out of faith in the Buddha, they went before the Bhagavan and sat down. Having been taught the Dharma, they attained the fruit of entering the stream, and they also especially recited "Come back" and were ordained. They meditated as prophesied, and soon manifested the fruit of Arhatship. Similarly, there is also the story of five hundred merchants who went to sea, were driven by the wind and moved by the waves, and built a fortress in the crevices of the rocky mountains in the middle of the sea, eventually attaining the state of Arhatship. 16-170 ༄། །The Sixty-Seventh Descent from the Gods The Sixty-Seventh Descent from the Gods: After the Fully Enlightened Buddha had shown great miracles, gods and humans alike developed great faith only in the Buddha's teachings. At that time, the monks had a great deal of gain and honor, so much so that it hindered the renunciation of ordinary people. In order to cut off the abundance of wealth and honor, and in order to establish his mother, who had taken birth in the realm of the gods, in the truth, the Bhagavan, together with his retinue, went to the top of Mount Meru, the realm of the gods.
