Namo guru buddha bodhisattvebhyaḥ. A brief account of the deeds of the Bhagavan, glorious Victorious One, Shakyamuni, Shakya Sengge, King of the Shakyas. Seeing which is meaningful, utterly joyful, and causes the sun of faith to rise in all directions. To the Thus-Gone One himself, I prostrate perfectly. Gods, lords, nagas, lords of men, and all in the three realms bow at your feet. Your body, with its excellent marks that constantly appear in many forms, is unparalleled. Your well-spoken voice, like the sound of a summer-born drum, awakens all who are asleep in ignorance in this world. You illuminate all directions with the light of truth. I prostrate to you, the powerful sage! You, whose mindstream is filled with the nectar of benefiting others alone for endless eons. You never consider your own benefit for even a moment, yet you have attained the ultimate state. O wondrous place, you captivate the mind, and with the captor and three eyes. Every day, I respectfully attend to you, protector, and therefore you are unequaled. You know all that is to be known completely, but since you are equal to space, what is surprising? Although you are free from effort, it is amazing that you engage in activities that tame countless beings. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, you possess unique power, extraordinary qualities, and inconceivable abilities. May you, guide, with the raindrops of your compassion, make all the world virtuous! The banner of your fame is renowned in the three worlds. The sound of the sacred Dharma proclaims the roar of a lion. The feet of the one who has attained the treasury of the all-knowing, the precious one, are touched by the jewel on the crown of Brahma and Indra. Having crossed the fathomless ocean of suffering. I bow with my head to the lord of beings. The deeds of the all-knowing one.
