་ ཀུན་ཤེས་ཀཽ་དེ་ན་བཞེངས་ཏེ། བདག་གིས་དེ་ལྟར་བགྱིད་ལགས་ཞུས་པས། ཀཽ་དི་ནྱ་ཁྱོད་ ཉིད་ལའང་རིམ་གྲོ་པ་དགོས་ཀྱི་སྟན་ལ་འདུག་ཤིག དེ་བཞིན་དུ་རྟ་ཐུལ་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ། གང་ པོའི་བར་ལ་ལྔ་བརྒྱའི་བར་དུ་དེ་སྐད་གསུངས། དེ་ནས་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུས་སྟོན་པའི་ཐུགས་ གང་ལ་གཏད་བརྟགས་པས་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ལ་གཏད་པར་མཐོང་སྟེ། ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ལའང་བཤད་ དེ། རང་ཅག་དོང་ལ་དེ་ལ་སྤྲོ་བར་བྱའོ། །དེར་དེ་གཉིས་སོང་ནས་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་ཀུན་དགའ་ བོ་ལ་ཁྱོད་སྟོན་པའི་རིམ་གྲོ་བྱེད་པར་སྤྲོའམ། དོན་ཆེན་པོར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་ བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ནི་བསྙེན་ཞིང་བཟོད་པར་དཀའ་བ་སྟེ། དེས་ན་བདག་མི་སྤྲོའོ། །མཽདྒལ་ གྱི་བུས་སྟོན་པས་ཐུགས་དགོངས་ཁྱོད་ལ་གཏད་དོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས། དེ་ བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་ན་བཟའ་བདག་གིར་མི་བྱ་བ་དང་། མགྲོན་དུ་བོས་པ་བདག་གིར་མི་ བྱ་བ་དང་། སྟོན་པ་ལ་བལྟ་ཞིང་བསྙེན་བཀུར་བའི་ཕྱིར་དུས་མ་ཡིན་པ་ཅུང་ཟད་ཀྱང་མེད་ པར་གནང་ན་རིམ་གྲོ་བྱེད་པར་སྤྲོའོ། །དེ་ནས་དོན་དེ་མཽདྒལ་གྱི་བུས་སྟོན་པ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་ ན། ལེགས་སོ་སྩལ་ཏེ་ཆོས་གོས་དང་ཁ་ཟས་ཀྱི་རྒྱུས་ང་ལ་རྙེད་བཀུར་བྱེད་དོ་ཞེས་ཁ་ཟེར་ བར་མི་འགྱུར་ཏེ། ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ནི་མཁས་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །གཞན་ཡང་སྟོན་པ་ཡང་དག་འཇོག་ ལ་བཞུགས་པ་དང་། བཞེངས་པ་དང་། ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་གྱི་གནས་པ་གང་ལ་གནས་པ་ཡང་ འཕགས་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་ཤེས་ཏེ། ངོ་མཚར་རྨད་དུ་བྱུང་བའི་ཆོས་ཅིག་ཡིན་ནོ། ། ༄། །དྲུག་ཅུ་པ་སྤྲེའུས་སྦྲང་རྩི་ཕུལ་བ་གཉིས། དྲུག་ཅུ་པ་སྤྲེའུས་སྦྲང་རྩི་ཕུལ་བ་གཉིས་ནི། དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཡུལ་སྒྲ་གཅན་ གྱི་གནས་དྲང་སྲོང་ཀུན་ཛི་ཀའི་ནགས་ན་བཞུགས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་བླ་གབ་མེད་པར་ལྷུང་བཟེད་ 16-153 རབ་ཏུ་མང་པོ་བཞག་པ་ལ། སྤྲེའུ་ཞིག་ཤིང་ལས་བབས་ཏེ་དེར་སོང་བ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ སྤྲེའུས་ལྷུང་བཟེད་བཅག་གིས་དོགས་ཏེ་བཟློག་པ་ལས། སྟོན་པས་དགེ་སློང་དག་སྤྲེའུ་འདི་ དྲན་པ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཡིན་པས་མ་ཟློག་ཅིག །ཅེས་བཀའ་སྩལ། དེ་ནས་སྤྲེའུ་དེས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་ འདས་ཀྱི་ལྷུང་བཟེད་བླངས་ཏེ། ཤིང་སཱ་ལའི་སྡོང་པོ་ལ་འཛེགས་ནས་སྦྲང་བུ་ལ་གནོད་པ་ མེད་པར་སྦྲང་རྩིའི་དྭངས་མ་བླངས་ཏེ་ལྷུང་བཟེད་བཀང་ནས་ལྗོན་ཤིང་ལས་བབས་ཏེ། སྟོན་ པ་ལ་ཕུལ་བ་ན་མ་བཞེས་ཏེ། དེས་ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་སོང་ནས། སྲོག་ཆགས་ཤི་བའི་ཡན་ལག་ ཕྲ་མོ་ཡོད་པ་དག་བསལ་ནས་ཡང་ཕུལ། དེར་ཡང་མ་བཞེས་པ་ན

Likewise, from horse tamers to elephant tamers, he spoke those words to five hundred people. Then, Maudgalyayana's son examined to whom the Teacher's mind was directed, and seeing that it was directed to Ananda, he also told Shariputra, "Let us go and request him." Then the two of them went, and Shariputra said to Ananda, "Are you willing to be the Teacher's attendant? It will become a great matter." Ananda said, "The Blessed One is difficult to approach and endure, therefore I am unwilling." Maudgalyayana's son said, "The Teacher's mind is directed towards you." Ananda said this: "Not possessing the Tathagata's robes, not possessing the invited food, and if it is allowed that there is no vacancy at any time for the sake of seeing and serving the Teacher, I am willing to be an attendant." Then, Maudgalyayana's son reported this matter to the Teacher, and the Teacher said: "Good, it will not be said that he is flattering me in order to receive my offerings because of robes and food, Ananda is a virtuous person." Furthermore, the noble Ananda knows in what correct state of meditation the Teacher is, whether sitting, standing, or in what state of meditation he is, this is a wonderful and rare Dharma. ༄། །Sixtieth: The Monkey Offering Honey, Two Sixtieth: The Monkey Offering Honey, Two: Then, the Blessed One was dwelling in the forest of the hermit Kunjika in the Vulture Peak Mountain of Rajagriha. At that time, many alms bowls were placed uncovered, and a monkey came down from a tree and went there. The monks, fearing that the monkey would break the alms bowls, tried to stop it, but the Teacher said, "Monks, this monkey is mindful, do not stop it." Then, that monkey took the Blessed One's alms bowl, climbed up a Sala tree, and without harming the bees, took the pure honey, filled the alms bowl, and came down from the tree, offering it to the Teacher, but he did not accept it. It went to one side, cleaned away the small limbs of dead creatures, and offered it again, but it was still not accepted.
