Giving The donkey hurriedly signaled, and when the nomadic settlement returned, they saw the Buddha in their place. To investigate, they tried to drive out a renunciate. The Buddha came out. Then they told him to go in, and he went in. After this happened three times, they told him to come out again. The Buddha said, "You have given this place to me three times." He said this and did not get up. The man said, "Give me an answer as I asked, or I will throw you behind the fortunate chariot." The Buddha said, "You cannot do that. Ask for what you want." Some Sutras and other historical accounts say, "You cannot do that." The man became very angry and ran towards the Buddha in a terrifying form. The man saw the Buddha transform into a Yaksha who was very ugly and fierce, with various faces and hands, extremely frightening. He felt fear, dread, and panic, and fainted. When he regained consciousness, the Buddha spoke, and so on. At that time, with the answers to his questions, he made his mind believe. He said, "Because you gave food to a supreme being, you should have been born as a god of the Thirty-Three, but due to a mistaken aspiration, you were born here." After that, he went for refuge and took vows, and he no longer harmed the nomads. After that, according to the Buddha's teachings, from then on, he accepted offerings of food and drink, and no longer took people or cattle. After that, the boy was taken by the Yaksha and offered to the Buddha. The Buddha gave him to his father, and therefore his name was Lagye (ལག་བརྒྱུད). Thus, what will be discussed here is the deed of taming the nomads. ༄། །I, the third, place Lagye on the truth. I, the third, placing Lagye on the truth is: After many years had passed, Lagye grew up and became skilled in the arts. In the city of Kaushambi, there was a wealthy man's daughter named Green Sage (Sngosangsma), who was an excellent woman. She manifested as kings and merchants from various places and chose a husband in the midst of the crowd, and as a result, she scattered flowers in the direction of Lagye. After that, Green Sage went from Kaushambi to the nomadic settlement.

When they arrived, the Teacher thought, "If Lag-bgyud meets Sngo-sangs-ma, he will not become a vessel of truth later." Knowing this, the Teacher wanted to teach Lag-bgyud the Dharma. Lag-bgyud got into a chariot and left the city at dawn, Sngo-sangs-ma got into a chariot and entered the city, the yokes of the two chariots met, and they asked each other and recognized each other. Lag-bgyud said to her, "Go home, I will come soon." After saying this, he went to the Teacher. When the Teacher taught Lag-bgyud the Dharma, he attained the fruit of non-returning. Then Lag-bgyud returned home and held a grand feast. He said to Sngo-sangs-ma, "I have attained the fruit of non-returning, so I will not engage in desire. If you want to go to your father's house, go. If you want to stay here, stay as brother and sister." Sngo-sangs-ma also had little attachment to desire. She thought, "It is good that I can receive the respect of such a noble being." So, she respected Lag-bgyud as a teacher or as a brother and stayed there. At that time, the Teacher was residing in the monastery of the herdsmen, 16-140 The people of the herdsmen's dwelling made extensive offerings, and the countless gods and humans in that area were placed in the truth. Not long after that, Lag-bgyud passed away from the herdsmen's dwelling and was born as a god in the Avriha heaven among the Pure Abodes. At another time, the Blessed One came to the herdsmen's dwelling. He came to listen to the Dharma, his body appearing like the color of gold, radiating light that was difficult to look at, coming without being obstructed by mountains or land. He arrived before the Teacher. It was difficult to sit on the ground of the desire realm, so the Teacher commanded him to generate the perception of earth. Then he sat there, and the Teacher extensively taught him the Dharma. He was very happy and satisfied, and disappeared there, appearing in the Avriha heaven. ༄། །The fourth story, the story of the Noisy City. The fourth story is the story of the Noisy City.

The two cities of Lāpo had alternating periods of prosperity and decline. At that time, both cities were very prosperous. At that time, in the city of Sound Proclamation, there was King Utrāyaṇa. When merchants from the central region who had arrived in that direction returned, they sent King Gzugs-can-snying-po a box filled with precious jewels as a gift, saying, "You are an unseen friend. If you have any needs in the city of Sound Proclamation, I will accomplish everything for you." Gzugs-can-snying-po also sent a box filled with many special cloths as a gift, and sent a message beforehand. In Sound Proclamation, there are many jewels, but excellent cloths are rare. In Magadha, it is the opposite. In this way, the merchants exchanged gifts with each other. Once, Utrāyaṇa asked the merchants of Magadha, "What is the size of your king's body?" They replied, "He is like a god, but other kings have to fight." Then, Utrāyaṇa sent a precious armor as a gift, which was comfortable to the body at all times, difficult to cut, difficult to pierce, could neutralize poison, and had the nature of light, possessing these five qualities. He instructed, "Only wear this yourself, do not give it to anyone else." Then, the merchants returned and presented the armor. Gzugs-can-snying-po had valuers assess the armor, but everyone determined that it was priceless. Gzugs-can-snying-po could not find a return gift of equal value and became unhappy. The Brahmin Dbyar-byed said to him, "In the land of the gods, the Buddha has appeared, please draw an image of him and send it." The king asked the teacher, who agreed, saying, "Good." Then he summoned the artists to draw, but no matter how much they observed, they could not capture the marks of the Buddha, and they became discouraged. The teacher emitted an image of the Buddha's body, and the painters filled the image with colors, finally completing the cloth painting of the Buddha image. Below the Buddha image, the words of refuge, the five precepts, and the twelve links of dependent origination in forward and reverse order were written. Above it was written:
