ད་ལྡན་པ་དང་། །དེ་བཞིན་བྲང་འགྲོ་མེ་དང་ནི། །དགེ་སློང་ ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་ལྡན་དེ་ལ། །བློ་དང་ལྡན་པས་བརྙས་མི་བྱ། །ཞེས་པའི་དོན་གཞོན་ནུ་དཔེའི་མདོ་ རྒྱས་པར་བཀའ་སྩལ་བས། རྒྱལ་པོ་གསལ་རྒྱལ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན་ པ་ཉིད་དང་། རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཉིད་དུ་ཡིད་ཆེས་ནས་ཞབས་གཉིས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ གཏུགས་ཏེ་སོང་ངོ་། །དེའི་ཚེ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དགེ་སློང་གི་དགེ་འདུན་ཆེན་པོ་དང་བཅས་ པ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་མཉན་ཡོད་ཀྱི་ཕྱོགས་རྒྱལ་བུ་རྒྱལ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཚལ་མགོན་མེད་ཟས་སྦྱིན་ཀྱི་ཀུན་ དགའ་ར་བར་དབྱར་གནས་པར་མཛད་ཅིང་། དེའི་ལོ་ཕྱི་མ་ཡབ་སྲས་མཇལ་བར་མཛད་དོ། ། ༄། །ཞེ་གཉིས་པ་ཡབ་སྲས་མཇལ་བའི་སྡེ། ཞེ་གཉིས་པ་ཡབ་སྲས་མཇལ་བའི་སྡེ་ནི། དེ་ཡང་རྒྱལ་པོ་གསལ་རྒྱལ་ཡང་དག་པའི་ 16-100 དད་པ་ཐོབ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཟས་གཙང་མ་ལ། ལྷ་དགྱེས་པ་བསྐྱེད་དུ་གསོལ། ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་སྲས་ཀྱིས་ བདུད་རྩི་བརྙེས་ནས་བདུད་རྩིས་འགྲོ་བ་ཚིམ་པར་མཛད་དོ་ཞེས་འཕྲིན་ཡིག་ཕུལ་བས། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཟས་གཙང་གིས་སྟོན་པའི་དྲུང་དུ་ཕོ་ཉ་ཞིག་བཏང་བ། སྟོན་པ་དང་ཆོས་ཀྱི་གཟི་བྱིན་ གྱིས་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བའི་ཤུགས་ཀྱིས་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པ་ཉམས་སུ་མྱོང་ནས་དེ་ཉིད་དུ་རབ་ཏུ་ བྱུང་སྟེ་ཕྱིར་མ་འོངས་སོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་ཕོ་ཉ་གཉིས་པ་ནས་བདུན་པ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་བར་དུ་ བཏང་ཡང་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱང་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་སྟེ་ཕྱིར་མ་ལྡོག་པས་འཕྲིན་ལས་སྐྱེལ་བ་སུ་ཡང་མ་ བྱུང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཟས་གཙང་མ་ལག་པ་འགྲམ་པ་ལ་གཏོད་དེ་སེམས་ཁོང་དུ་ཆུད་ ཅིང་འདུག་པ་ལ། མདུན་ན་འདོན་གྱི་བུ་འཆར་ཀས་རྒྱུ་མཚན་དྲིས་པས། གཞོན་ནུ་དོན་ ཐམས་ཅད་གྲུབ་པ་སྔོན་དཀའ་བ་སྤྱོད་པའི་ཚེ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་གཏམ་ཁྱེར་ནས་འོང་ན། ད་ ལྟ་བདུད་རྩི་ཐོབ་ནས་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པས་གནས་པའི་ཚེ་འཕྲིན་སྐྱེལ་བ་བཏང་བ་ཐམས་ ཅད་ཀྱང་ལྡོག་འོང་བ་མེད་པས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་འཆར་ཀས་ལྷ་དོན་དེ་ལ་བདག་འགྲོའོ། །རྒྱལ་ པོས་ཁྱེད་ཀྱང་དེའི་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པ་མཐོང་ནས་དེར་འདུག་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེས་བདག་ སླར་ངེས་པར་འོང་ངོ་བྱས་ནས། དེའི་ཚེ་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཟས་གཙང་མས་རང་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་འཕྲིན་ཡིག་ བྲིས་ཏེ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས། ལྷུམས་སུ་ཞུགས་པ་བཟུང་ནས་སུ། ཁྱོད་ནི་བདག་གིས་ཆེར་བསྐྲུན་ ཏེ། །ཉོན་མོངས་མེ་རབ་འབར་བཞིན་དུ། །རྒྱལ་བ་ལྗོན་ཤིང་ལ་བསྡད་ན། །ད་ནི་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ སློབ་མ་ཡི། །ཡལ་ག་ལྕུག་མ་འཕེལ་གྱུར་ན། །གཞན་ནི་བདེ་བས་དགའ་བར་གྱུར། །བདག་ ནི་སྡུག་བསྔལ

如具有忍辱，以及如胸行、火等，對具戒律之比丘，有智慧者不應輕蔑。如是之義，世尊於《童子譬喻經》中廣說。光明王信解世尊為一切智者、圓滿正等覺，以頭觸碰佛足而離去。彼時，世尊與大比丘僧眾於舍衛城郊祇陀林給孤獨園安居。次年，父子相見。 ༄། །第四十二品 父子相見品 第四十二品 父子相見品：復次，光明王獲得真實信心後，向淨飯王稟告：請您生起天人的歡喜，您的兒子已獲得甘露，並以甘露使眾生滿足。淨飯王遂派遣使者前往世尊處。使者因佛陀與佛法的威光而生大歡喜，體驗殊勝之樂，遂於彼處出家，未再返回。如是，自第二位至第七位使者等，皆出家未返，無人傳遞訊息。其後，淨飯王以手支頤，沉思不語。侍者之子迦留陀夷問其緣由。國王答道：昔日悉達多童子苦行之時，眾人皆來傳訊，如今獲得甘露，安住於殊勝之境，所派遣之使者皆未返回。迦留陀夷言：我願前往。國王說：您見彼殊勝之境，亦將住於彼處。迦留陀夷答：我必歸來。其時，淨飯王親自書寫書信云：自入胎受孕之時起，汝為我所養育。如煩惱之火熾燃，勝者安住於樹上。今汝之弟子，枝葉繁茂。他人因安樂而歡喜，我則痛苦。

As with patience, and as with chest-goers, fire, etc., a monk who possesses discipline should not be despised by those with wisdom. Thus, the meaning of this was extensively taught by the Blessed One in the Sutra of the Example of the Youth. King Clear Light, having believed that the Blessed One was the All-Knowing One and the Perfectly Complete Buddha, touched his head to his feet and departed. At that time, the Blessed One, together with the great Sangha of monks, was dwelling in the Jeta Grove of Prince Jeta in the direction of Shravasti, in the Garden of Anathapindika, for the summer retreat. The following year, father and son met. ༄། །The Forty-Second Section: The Meeting of Father and Son The forty-second section, The Meeting of Father and Son: Furthermore, after King Clear Light had obtained true faith, he informed King Shuddhodana: "Please generate the joy of the gods. Your son has attained nectar and satisfies beings with nectar." King Shuddhodana then sent a messenger to the presence of the Teacher. The messenger, greatly delighted by the splendor of the Teacher and the Dharma, experienced supreme bliss and immediately went forth there, not returning. Similarly, from the second to the seventh messenger, all went forth and did not return, so no one delivered the message. Then, King Shuddhodana, with his hand on his cheek, was absorbed in thought. The son of the attendant, Kaludayi, asked the reason. The king replied, "When the youth Siddhartha was previously practicing austerities, everyone came with news, but now that he has attained nectar and dwells in a state of perfection, all those sent to deliver the message have not returned." Then Kaludayi said, "I will go for that divine purpose." The king said, "You too, having seen his perfection, will remain there." He replied, "I will definitely return." At that time, King Shuddhodana himself wrote a letter, saying, "From the time of entering the womb and being conceived, you have been greatly raised by me. As the fire of affliction blazes, the Victorious One dwells on the tree. Now your disciples, the branches and twigs, have increased. Others rejoice in happiness, but I suffer."
