པ་དེ་ཟུངས་ཤིག་ཟེར་རོ། །དབྱར་བྱེད་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་དེ་ལྟར་ཞུས་པ་ན་བཀའ་སྩལ་ པ། ངས་སྤོང་བྱེད་པ་ལ་ཉམས་པར་མི་འགྱུར་བའི་རྒྱུ་བདུན་བཤད་དོ། །བདུན་ནི། ཡང་དང་ ཡང་དུ་འདུ་ཞིང་འདུ་བ་ལ་རིང་དུ་གནས་པ་དང་། འགྲོ་འདུག་དང་དགོས་པ་དང་བྱ་བ་མཐུན་ པར་གནས་པ་དང་། སྨོན་པར་བྱ་བ་མ་ཡིན་པ་ལ་མི་མོས་སྨོན་པ་མི་འདོར་ཁྲིམས་བཅས་པ་ བཞིན་དུ་སྤྱོད་པ་དང་། བུད་མེད་བགྲོད་བྱ་མ་ཡིན་པ་ལ་མི་བགྲོད་པ་དང་། རྒན་རབས་ལ་ བཀུར་བསྟི་བྱེད་ཅིང་ཚིག་ཉན་པ་དང་། མཆོད་རྟེན་ལ་མཆོད་ཅིང་སྔོན་གྱི་མཚན་མ་མི་འདོར་ བ་དང་། ཡུལ་གྱི་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་རྣམས་ལ་དད་པས་བསྙེན་བཀུར་བྱེད་པའོ། །སྤོང་བྱེད་པ་ རྣམས་དེ་དག་གཅིག་དང་ལྡན་ནའང་མ་སྐྱེས་དགྲས་ཐུབ་པར་མི་འགྱུར་ན། བདུན་དང་ལྡན་ ན་ལྟ་ཅི་སྨོས་གསུང་། དེ་ནས་བྲམ་ཟེ་དབྱར་བྱེད་སོང་ངོ་། །དགེ་སློང་ཐམས་ཅད་བསྡུས་ཏེ་ དགེ་འདུན་ཉམས་པར་མི་འགྱུར་བའི་རྒྱུ་བདུན་གསུངས་ཏེ། དང་པོ་གསུམ་སྤོང་བྱེད་པའི་ སྐབས་དང་འདྲ། ལྷག་མ་བཞི་ནི་འདོད་ཆགས་ཀྱི་དབང་དུ་མ་གྱུར་པ་དང་། གནས་བརྟན་ རྒན་རིམ་ལ་བསྙེན་བཀུར་བྱེད་པ་དང་། དབེན་པར་གནས་མལ་འཆའ་བ་དང་། ཚངས་པ་ མཚུངས་པར་སྤྱོད་པ་རྣམས་ལ་དད་པས་ཆོས་གོས་ལ་སོགས་པ་བསྙེན་བཀུར་བྱེད་པའོ། ། 16-270 གཞན་ཡང་ཉམས་པར་མི་འགྱུར་བའི་ཆོས་བདུན་ཚན་མང་པོ་དང་། ཀུན་ཏུ་དགའ་བར་ འགྱུར་བའི་ཆོས་དྲུག་གསུངས་སོ། ། ༄། །བརྒྱ་བཅུ་པ་ཡངས་པའི་ལམ་དུ་བཞུད་པ། བརྒྱ་བཅུ་པ་ཡངས་པའི་ལམ་དུ་བཞུད་པ་ནི། དེ་ནས་ཡངས་པ་ཅན་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་སྤྱན་ འདྲེན་པའི་ཕོ་ཉ་བཏང་བ་ལྟར། བྱ་རྒོད་ཕུང་པོའི་རི་ནས་འོད་མའི་དབྱུག་པ་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་ དུ་བྱོན་ནས་ནུབ་གཅིག་བཞུགས་ཏེ། ནངས་པར་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དམར་བུ་ཅན་དུ་གཤེགས་ནས་ དེར་གནས་པའི་ཁྱིམ་པ་རྣམས་ལ་བག་མེད་པའི་ཉེས་དམིགས་ལྔ་གསུངས་པ་ནི། ལོངས་ སྤྱོད་ལས་ཉམས་པ་དང་། ཚོགས་སུ་འགྲོ་ན་ཞུམ་པ་དང་། གྲགས་པ་ངན་པ་དང་། རང་ འགྱོད་པ་དང་། ཤི་ནས་ངན་སོང་དུ་འགྲོ་བའོ། །བག་ཡོད་པ་ལ་ནི་དེ་ལས་ལྡོག་པའི་ཕན་ ཡོན་ལྔ་གསུངས་ཏེ། དེའི་ནུབ་མོ་ཁྱིམ་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་གནས་དེར་བཞུགས་པར་གསོལ་བ་ བཏབ་པས་དམར་བུ་ཅན་གྱི་འདུག་གནས་སུ་བཞུགས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ཡང་བྲམ་ཟེ་དབྱར་བྱེད་ ནི་སྤོང་བྱེད་པ་རྣམས་གཞོམ་པའི་ཕྱིར་དམར་བུ་ཅན་དུ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་རྩིག་སྟེ། ལྷ་མཐུ་ཆེ་བས་ འདྲེས་བྱེད་པ་དང་། གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གྱི་མཆོག་ཏུ་འགྱུར་བ་དང་། འཇིགས་པ་གསུ

说：“接受那个吧。” 婆罗门夏季也那样请求，（佛）赐予了教诲：我说过使出家者不衰退的七个原因。七个是：经常聚集在一起，对于聚集长久安住；在行住坐卧和需要及事务上保持一致；不舍弃不应希求的希求，如已制定的戒律般行事；不进入不应进入的妇女之处；尊敬长者并听从教诲；供养佛塔且不舍弃以前的标志；以信心侍奉地方的阿罗汉们。出家者们即使具备其中之一，也无法被未生怨王所胜，何况具备七者呢？说完后，婆罗门夏季就离开了。召集所有比丘，宣说了使僧团不衰退的七个原因，前三个与出家者的场合相同。剩余四个是不受贪欲的支配；侍奉年长的上座；在寂静处安住；以信心侍奉行梵行者，供养法衣等物。 16-270 此外，还宣说了许多不衰退的七法，以及使一切欢喜的六法。 ༄། །第一百一十 走向广阔的道路 第一百一十 走向广阔的道路是：之后，如同广阔城邑的人们派遣迎请的使者一样，从鹫峰山前往持有光芒手杖的村庄，住了一夜。第二天，前往赤色之城，对居住在那里的在家人们宣说了放逸的五个过患：失去享受；在集会中感到羞愧；名声不好；自己后悔；死后堕入恶趣。对于不放逸者，则宣说了与此相反的五个利益。那天晚上，在家人们祈请（佛）住在那里，于是（佛）住在赤色之城的住所。当时，婆罗门夏季为了摧毁出家者们，在赤色之城建造城市，因为天神威力强大，所以能混合（人群），成为城市的顶峰，以及三种恐惧。

He said, "Accept that." When the Brahmin Summer also requested in that way, (the Buddha) bestowed the teaching: "I have spoken of seven causes for renunciates not to decline. The seven are: frequently gathering together, abiding long in gatherings; abiding in harmony in comings and goings, needs, and activities; not abandoning desires that should not be desired, acting as if following established precepts; not entering places where women should not be entered; respecting elders and listening to teachings; making offerings to stupas and not abandoning previous signs; and serving the Arhats of the region with faith. If renunciates possess even one of these, they cannot be overcome by Ajatashatru, let alone possessing seven!" After speaking, the Brahmin Summer departed. Gathering all the monks, he proclaimed the seven causes for the Sangha not to decline, the first three being the same as in the case of renunciates. The remaining four are not being dominated by desire; serving the elder Sthaviras; dwelling in secluded places; and serving those who practice Brahmacharya with faith, offering robes and other things. 16-270 Furthermore, he also proclaimed many sets of seven dharmas that do not decline, and six dharmas that bring universal joy. ༄། །The Hundred and Tenth: Proceeding on the Broad Path The Hundred and Tenth: Proceeding on the Broad Path is: Then, as the people of the vast city sent messengers to invite, (the Buddha) went from Vulture Peak Mountain to the village with the radiant staff, staying one night. The next morning, he went to the Red City, and to the householders living there, he proclaimed the five faults of negligence: loss of enjoyment; feeling ashamed in gatherings; bad reputation; regretting oneself; and going to the lower realms after death. For the diligent, he proclaimed the five benefits that are the opposite of these. That night, the householders requested (the Buddha) to stay there, so (the Buddha) stayed in the residence of the Red City. At that time, the Brahmin Summer, in order to destroy the renunciates, was building a city in the Red City, because the gods were powerful, so they could mix (the people), become the peak of the city, and (create) three fears.
