Was given. After ordaining, he attained Arhatship. He was prophesied to be the best of the nuns in distinguishing the Sutra Pitaka. Then, while traveling in the direction of the enemy territory, a Brahmin was drawing water from a well and irrigating the garden. When he saw the Teacher coming, 16-254 he hid the water pot and the hanging rope. When the Teacher came to that garden, he miraculously filled the entire garden with water. The Brahmin said, "Come here, the hanging rope and the water pot are here." The Teacher said, "If there is water everywhere, what is the use of the water from the well?" Then he taught the Dharma, and he developed faith and was fully ordained with "Come here," and eventually attained Arhatship. Intermediate summary: Subdued five hundred farmers, and hid the water pot in Katsangga. The Hundred and Third Staying in the Enemy Territory for the Rainy Season Retreat. The Hundred and Third Staying in the Enemy Territory for the Rainy Season Retreat: Thus, while traveling in a place called the Community of Warriors, he stayed near the city of the enemy territory under a neem tree with holes. There, the king of the enemy territory, named Fire Offering, heard of this and thought, "The ascetic Gautama is honored and revered by all the great kings, so we, the border kings, should also honor and revere him." So he went to the Buddha, prostrated, and requested to offer him offerings for three months. He returned to the palace and said to his family, "For three months, every day, prepare eighteen kinds of food and various vegetables, etc., enough food to satisfy five hundred people." And he announced in the city, "No one else should offer umbrellas and vegetables to Gautama. If they do, they will be fined." That night, King Fire Offering dreamed that his intestines were wrapped around the city of the enemy territory. He woke up frightened and asked the diviner Brahmin, who also knew it was a good omen, but thought, "If I say it is a good omen, he might become even more devoted to Gautama." So he said, "This dream is a bad omen, it may lead to the loss of the kingdom or even a threat to life." The king asked, "What can be done about this?" The Brahmin said, "If he stays in a place where people cannot see him for three months, it will not happen like that." Then King Fire Offering for three months.

Let no one come to me, And then stay in an invisible place. Then, the next morning, the venerable Ananda went to the king's gate and saw people speaking in very small voices. He thought: Have you not invited the Buddha and the Sangha? They said: It is said to prepare food, but it is not said to whom. Now I cannot say. He told this to the Teacher. The Teacher said: Go and ask in the cities if anyone is willing to offer alms to the Buddha and the Sangha for three months. When Ananda announced this, they said: We are very willing, but we are prevented by the wicked king. At that time, a caravan leader came from the north, carrying goods on five hundred horses, and came around the enemy's border. He thought: I am not a subject of this king, what should I do? So he said to Ananda: My thoroughbred horse eats broken rice, and the other horses eat one dou of barley each. If you are willing to invite the Blessed One and the Sangha, I will offer it. Ananda reported this to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said to the monks: If you are willing to live with the Blessed One for three months on horse feed, take a token. So the tokens were distributed. The venerable Shariputra could not live on barley because of his severe wind disease. Maudgalyayana also needed a servant, so the two of them did not take tokens. The other five hundred were two short, so they took them. The two venerable ones went to the top of Three Mountains, where Indra offered nectar and lived on it. At that time, Ananda entrusted the barley prepared for offering to the Teacher to an old woman to pound rice and cook. The old woman said: I am old, give it to my daughter. Ananda gave the work to her, and she said: If you say a few words of Dharma for me, I will do it. As she was doing this, the daughter said: What is the so-called Buddha? Ananda thought: This woman will not understand the Buddha's profound Dharma, it is better to praise the Universal Monarch. So he extensively told the story of the Universal Monarch, and the story of the Universal Monarch was finished. Before he had time to tell the greatness of the Buddha, the work of pounding rice was finished.
