Strike it and do not extract the demon form. If there is a support, let it remain. If not, say "MUH (藏文:མུཿ)" and ask it to depart. The subsequent permission for this is: On a black triangular mandala of colored powder, arrange black heaps. Set out a torma made with camphor, meat, and fried beans, and an intoxicating blood offering. Practice the praise in between as before. The nature of the subsequent permission is: it is similar to other subsequent permissions transmitted from Panchen Shakya Shri. Supplication, refuge, generation of bodhicitta, generation and absorption of the deity, recitation of mantra and transmission, absorption of mudras of mind and hands, etc. are included. In later practices, there is also the practice of torma empowerment, so in that case, tormas should also be arranged on a torma plate on top of the mandala. The practice method for all Dharma protectors is: it is often mixed with Nyingma practices. The immaculate words of Indian scholars are the essence of great joy. This is the chapter on the practice of the curved knife mother transmitted by Kache Panchen. May it flourish and increase. ༈ Chapter on the practice of the seventeen deities of the Copper Knife Protector. Om Svasti! Emanating from the glory of Heruka, after paying homage to the great and virtuous one, the practice method and subsequent permission for practicing like Yama, the Lord of Death, will be explained. Arrange offerings and tormas in front of the object of focus. If there is no object of focus, it is also acceptable to visualize in the sky in front. Since self-generation as Heruka or any other deity precedes it, the offering and blessing should be done like the common Protector. Purify the front generation with incense. From emptiness, from the syllable KHAM (藏文:ཁཾ), a great vajra rock mountain arises. Within the protective wheel formed by HUM (藏文:ཧཱུཾ) and curved knives, in the center surrounded by a great charnel ground, from the syllable BHRUM (藏文:བྷྲུཾ), a triangular palace of skull tiles arises. Legs as pillars, intestines as nets, skulls as roofs, adorned with terrifying ornaments. One door faces the front. In the center, within a circle surrounded by a garland of curved knives, a wheel of meteoric iron. In the center, a dark blue triangular Dharma origin. On the lotus and sun cushion in the center, the images of enemies and obstructors are intertwined. On the petals are sixteen petals, each with a lotus and sun cushion. With the rays of light from the HUM (藏文:ཧཱུཾ) syllable in one's heart, invite and absorb the consciousness of enemies and obstructors, the green NI syllable and the yellow TRA syllable, into the center.

Upon the seat of , from the syllable Hūṃ arises a hooked knife, marked with Hūṃ, emitting light. It cuts off all enemies, obstructors, and malicious beings. Gathering and becoming completely one, it transforms into the glorious, powerful, great black one, the form of Vajra Rakshasa. His body color is as black as a bumblebee, short and stout, possessing the splendor of a thousand suns. He has one face, two arms, and three eyes. His fangs are bared, and his tongue is rolled. Blood drips from the corners of his mouth. His hair, beard, and eyebrows are brownish-black and stand erect. His right hand brandishes a flaming hooked knife, and his left hand holds a skull cup filled with the blood of malicious beings at his heart. He wears a tiger skin loincloth, a crown of dry skulls, and a necklace of wet skulls. His body is adorned with venomous snakes. Fierce and wrathful, he is so enraged that he even cuts off the flesh of his own limbs. Standing in a posture with his left leg extended, he tramples enemies and obstructors with his speech. He dwells in the center of a fire like the fire at the end of an eon. On the eight spokes of the wheel, from the eight fathers and eight mothers, sixteen hooked knives are completely transformed. They transform into the eight Yamas and eight Matrikas. In the east are Yavaati and the messenger mother, in the south are the Dharma Raja and the tusk mother, in the west are Telava and the black club mother, in the north are Ava bull-head and the time-night mother, in the northeast are nine braids of hair and the iron hook mother, in the northwest are nightmares and the fat mother, in the southwest are Chyasang and the iron chain mother, in the southeast are red-eye and the subduing mother. Thus, the eight Yamas are bluish-gray in color, with their hair standing erect. The eight Matrikas are black in color, with their hair and breasts hanging down. All are naked, holding hooked knives and skull cups, without ornaments, standing with their left legs extended, in a manner of receiving commands. From his own heart, rays of light emanate. Protector, Wisdom Being, Vajrasamājaḥ Hūṃ. With faith and commitment, come, come, great black one. Before Vajradhara, as promised and vowed, in this blessed place, for fierce activities, I invite you to come. Oṃ Mahākāla Jñānajaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ. Bless the three places. The crown of the Protector is sealed with Akshobhya. Vajrāsana Tiṣṭhantu, offering the seat. Oṃ Mahāsamaya Hana Hana Hūṃ Phaṭ. Thus, show the commitment seal.
