The right hand holds a vajra at the heart, the left hand holds a bell at the waist. Abiding in the posture of a bodhisattva in full lotus position, adorned with silk and all precious ornaments. Residing on a lotus and moon disc, with a backdrop of moonlight. At the heart, a yellow Hūṃ (藏文：ཧཱུྃ།，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Hūṃ) resides on the moon. With its light, invite countless wisdom beings, gurus, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas. To those abiding in the sky in front, perform the seven-branch offering as much as possible. First, arrange the mandala of the three main deities of Vajrasana, with the large one in the center and one smaller one on each side, neatly in a north-south direction. Place the boundary-holding flowers in the northeast corner, offering water in the east, foot-washing water in the southeast, flowers in the south, incense in the southwest, lamps in the west, perfumed water in the northwest, and food offerings in the north. Place the torma between the perfumed water and the food offerings. If performing multiple subsequent empowerments, prepare the same number of food offerings as the number of empowerments, the hooks for the torma offerings, flower offerings, incense offerings, offering water, foot-washing water, perfumed water, and water for the torma purification ritual. On the table in front of the teacher, place cymbals and vajra bell and dorje as appropriate. Prepare small bowls of flowers for the students to scatter. Distribute flowers {torma [ka torma] one} to the students. In front of the Karma Vajra, arrange the mandala and the water for smearing the mandala. Then the teacher says: All sentient beings equal to space, take refuge in the lama. Take refuge in the Buddha. Take refuge in the Dharma. Take refuge in the Sangha. Recite seven times.
