It is said as follows. The practice method and subsequent permission sequence of Red Jambhala, according to the tradition of Gawa Ngonshe, are: Smear the mandala with saffron and fragrant scents. In the center, draw a red eight-petaled lotus. In the center of the lotus, place a kapala bowl filled with nectar pills and excellent intoxicants mixed with molasses. In front of it, arrange a torma shaped like a blazing jewel, colored red with tsampa and adorned with molasses, meat, and so on. Arrange one offering torma, or one worldly torma, making a total of two. On the right, place a red vase with auspicious characteristics, adorned with a crown and necklace, filled with pure water and all five sets of five substances. On the left, place a copper offering vessel, inviting the deity to reside. Surround it with offerings. With the self-generation and recitation of any chosen deity as the preliminary, purify the objects of focus with Amrita (Tibetan: ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अमृत, Sanskrit Romanization: amṛta, Literal Chinese meaning: Ambrosia), and cleanse them with Svabhava (Tibetan: སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वभाव, Sanskrit Romanization: svabhāva, Literal Chinese meaning: Self-nature). From emptiness, in front, from the letter Pam (Tibetan: པཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Pam) arises a lotus, from the letter Ma (Tibetan: མ, Sanskrit Devanagari: म, Sanskrit Romanization: ma, Literal Chinese meaning: Ma) arises a sun, and from the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A) arises a moon seat. From the red letter Dzam (Tibetan: ཛཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: जं, Sanskrit Romanization: jaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Dzam), rays of light emanate, dispelling the suffering of poverty of sentient beings, gathering back, and completely transforming into Arya. 15-486 Red Jambhala, with three faces, six arms, and four legs, his body color is red and radiant like a heap of rubies, possessing an attitude of desire and charm, slightly wrathful yet smiling. The main face is red and blooming, the right face is white, and the left face is blue. The first of the right hands holds a jewel, the second holds an iron hook. The first of the left hands holds a skull cup filled with jewels, the second holds a lasso, and the last two hold treasure-mongoose, squeezing them to vomit various precious jewels. The two right feet are slightly bent, and the two left feet are slightly extended, pressing down on two yakshas vomiting jewels in a dancing posture. He is adorned with the eight great nagas and various precious ornaments, and beautified with flower garlands and silk banners. At his heart, from the red letter Hrih (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih) arises the secret goddess Kurukulle, with a red body, one face, and four arms. The first two hands draw the utpala arrow and bow to the ears, and the lower two hands hold an iron hook and lasso adorned with utpala flowers. The right leg is bent, and the chest rests on the left thigh in a meditative posture.ྲུང་ (seed syllable). Half of the body is standing. Decorated with five mudras of human bone rosaries and countless precious ornaments. Visualize it clearly with an angry, smiling, and charming posture. Bless the three places of both father and mother with the three syllables (ༀ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།, om ah hum, body, speech, and mind). Light radiates from the seed syllable in the center of the heart. Invite the wisdom being from its own nature. (Recite:) ༀ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨཱརྱ་ཛཾ་བྷ་ལ་ཤྲཱི་ཀུ་རུ་ཀུལླེ་ས་པ་རི་ཝཱ་ར་བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ མཧཱ་ཨརྒྷཾ་པྲ་ཏཱིཙྪ་སྭཱཧཱ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning: ༀ་sarva tathāgata ārya jambhala śrī kurukulle saparivāra vajra samājaḥ mahā argham pratīccha svāhā, all tathagatas, noble Jambhala, glorious Kurukulle, retinue, Vajra Samaja, great offering, receive, svaha!). Lotus, lotus, for you! Ja Hum Bam Ho, contemplate the two as inseparable. Again, radiate light, invite and offer to the empowerment deity. (Recite:) ༀ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཏུ་མཾ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning: ༀ་sarva tathāgata abhiṣiñcatu mām, all tathagatas, please empower me!). Thus speaking, the stream of empowerment water fills the whole body, purifying defilements. The remaining water overflows upwards, and Amitabha Buddha holds a precious jewel with the mudra of meditative equipoise as a crown ornament. (Recite:) ༀ་ཛཾ་བྷ་ལ་ཛ་ལེནྡྲ་ཡེ་དྷ་ན་མི་དྷི་ཧྲཱིཿསྭཱཧཱ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning: ༀ་jambhala jalendra ye dhana me dehi hrīḥ svāhā, Om, Jambhala, water god, grant, wealth, to me, hrih, svaha!). Recite this mantra as much as possible, and contemplate that the deity is pleased and bestows the accomplishment of wealth. Bless the torma with the three syllables (ༀ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།, om ah hum, body, speech, and mind). Add ཨི་དཾ་བཱ་ལིང་ཏ་ཁ་ཁ་ཁཱ་ཧི་ཁཱ་ཧཱི། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning: idaṃ balingta kha kha khāhi khāhi, this torma, eat, eat, eat!) after the heart mantra. Offer the outer torma with the syllable A (ཨཱཿ, āḥ, emptiness). Bless the offerings. With their respective mudras, (recite:) ན་མཿསརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨཱརྱ་ཛཾ་བྷ་ལ་ས་པ་རི་ཝཱ་ར་ཨརྒྷཾ་པྲ་ཏཱིཙྪ་པཱུ་ཛ་མེ་གྷ་ས་མུ་དྲ་སྥ་ར་ཎ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཨཱཿཧཱུཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning: namaḥ sarva tathāgata ārya jambhala saparivāra argham pratīccha pūja megha samudra spharaṇa samaya āḥ hūṃ, Homage, all tathagatas, noble Jambhala, retinue, argham, receive, puja, cloud, ocean, pervading, samaya, Ah, Hum!). Holding a vase of nectar, the three places (body, speech, and mind) adorned with countless silks and jewels are blessed. The wisdom beings are invited by the light emanating from the heart. Inviting, settling, binding, and pleasing are performed. Offerings are made to the invited empowerment deities, and empowerment is bestowed. The lords of each family adorn the head, and offerings and praises are made.
