Holding a treasure-bearing mongoose, riding a horse of the same color as himself, adorned with silk and various jewels, those who are brave, majestic, and not hideous in appearance, each with their own retinue. In the middle surrounding area are the eight great Naga kings with their retinues, and in the lower surrounding area are the assemblies of the eight classes of gods and demons, with uncertain body colors, hideous and majestic, holding various weapons. Within the inner layer of that lower surrounding area, all twenty-eight troop leaders are of red-black color, holding swords and shields; in the outer layer, all thirty-two great powerful ones are of green-black color, wearing armor, holding spears and swords, each with their immeasurable retinues. All of them hold a treasure-bearing mongoose in their left hand, raining down the rain of accomplishments upon the practitioner. Burning mixed incense, light radiates from the Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ，Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं，Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ，Literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable in one's own heart, and at the end of the light rays appears the wrathful King of Desire, holding an iron hook and a rope. The king and his retinue together, Vajra Samājaḥ (བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ). With the iron hook mudra, invoking the protector, the Lord of All Departed Ones, the one with vows. Now is the time of the five degenerations, all are sinking in the mud of afflictions, the five heinous crimes are universally practiced, even the evil places to see and go to, before the eyes of Shakya Simha, please remember the vows you have made, in order to protect the guiding Dharma and benefit all sentient beings, please descend from the northern lands, for the benefit of sentient beings. Oṃ, Vaiśravaṇa, with your retinue, Samājaḥ (ༀ་བཻ་ཤྲ་མ་ཎ་ས་པཱ་རི་ཝཱ་ར་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ). Jaḥ Hūṃ Vaṃ Hoḥ (ཛཿཧཱུཾ་བཾ་ཧོཿ). Oṃ, Vai, Svāhā (ༀ་བཻ་སྭཱཧཱ།). Oṃ, Vaiśravaṇa, Ākarṣaya Jaḥ (ༀ་བཻ་ཤྲ་མ་ཎ་ཨ་ཀཪྵ་ཡ་ཛཿ). Vai, long and majestic, said to be the duration of thirty-two blinks of an eye. With the mantra of Amrita, dispel the obstructing demons of the outer followers. In the heart of the king, on each of the eight petals of the lotus, there are four Vai syllables each. The hearts of oneself and the one in front are connected by a hook of light. The seven jewels. The delightful forest, the sword, the mansion, the bedding, the clothes of the gods, the snake skin shoes, etc., I offer to the Great King and his retinue. The additional seven jewels. The mirror, the hamba yogurt, the durva, the bilva tree, the bed, the mustard sugar and other auspicious substances, I offer to the Great King and his retinue. The eight auspicious symbols. The delightful form and the melodious sound, the pleasing scent and the food of a hundred tastes, the soft and clinging touch, I offer to the Great King and his retinue. The five objects of desire. The praise is: Hūṃ, on the fearless lion throne, the protector born of Vai, the restful, virtuous, and powerful one, the lord of the eight bhūmis, I praise you. The four queens and the four sons, especially the eight yakshas who accomplish deeds, the eight great nāgas who bestow the best of wealth, the eight classes of gods and demons and their retinues, I worship and praise and prostrate. Destroy all enemies and obstacles, increase the abundance of wealth and enjoyment, fulfill all wishes as desired, and accomplish the benefit of others effortlessly.
