The twelve noble Pratyekabuddhas who firmly abide in the meaning of dependent origination, Who dwell well in arising and cessation, I prostrate and praise the chief of the Pratyekabuddhas. With the appearance of wrathful Rakshasas, adorned with snakes and unsightly heads, Wrapped with tiger skin, the manifestation of the three realms, etc., I prostrate. The terrifying gods, nagas, planets, and stars who dwell in the outer surroundings, I prostrate to the directional guardians and great kings, and praise all worldly beings. This praise is now famous to all, so it is recorded here. The praise of the sixteen Bodhisattvas here is, because it is the hundred names of the chief one that appears in its abridged form, it is very excellent and important. The praise from Kalsang onwards seems to be an extensive one that is composed one by one. It seems that some old Tibetan ritual masters have abridged and composed this. Therefore, except for the words of the Victorious Ones and those composed by the great chariots of the holy land, there is no need for a fixed rule for the newly composed ones as to how they should be appropriate.
