Without crookedness, it is as clear as a sesame oil lamp, radiating its own light. It is as red as madder juice, like a color dyed with madder. It is as thin as a lotus stem, extremely thin. The overall shape and thickness are like a medium-sized arrow shaft. It is said that the upper end of the central channel pierces the Brahma aperture at the crown of the head. However, one does not actually meditate on the bone's Brahma aperture itself, but rather meditates on the position directly above the Brahma aperture, about two fingers' width down from the upper edge of the crown of the head. The lower end is meditated upon as piercing the position four fingers below the navel. The central channel is hollow, and both the upper and lower ends are cut off. To its right is the red Roma channel, and to its left is the white Kyangma channel. The thickness of these two channels is about the size of the central channel divided into four parts, or it can be as thin as a barley awn. In any case, it is the same no matter how one meditates. These two channels exist together with the central channel like three strands from the crown of the head to four fingers below the navel. The upper and lower ends are where the Roma and Kyang channels grow out longer. The lower ends of the Roma and Kyang channels are about four fingers longer than the central channel. The ends of the Roma and Kyang channels are folded upwards and slightly inserted into the lower end of the central channel. The two upper ends reach about one thumb's width behind the upper end of the central channel. From there, the two channels are merged and covered on top of the upper end of the central channel, and then bent forward. The end of the Roma channel is inserted into the right nostril, and the end of the Kyangma channel is inserted into the left nostril. In this way, the three channels of Roma, Kyang, and the central channel exist side by side. At the position of the navel, the position of the heart, the position of the thickest part of the throat, and the position two fingers down from the upper end of the central channel at the crown of the head, these four positions are the centers of the chakras, like round, hollow wheels. The three channels of Roma, Kyang, and the central channel are like the central life-tree, like wrapping it around the waist. From such a center, the petals of the channels grow out like umbrella ribs with channel tubes. Among them, the navel is the emanation wheel, with sixty-four channel petals, placed face up like umbrella ribs. The heart is the dharma wheel, with eight channel petals, just like umbrella ribs. The throat is the enjoyment wheel, with sixteen channel petals, like an umbrella handle.

For example, the thirty-two petals of the great bliss wheel at the crown of the head, like the ribs of an umbrella. All four chakras have no distinction between outer and inner layers. These numbers are fixed. All are red in color. Meditate on them as if they were red-hot iron, emitting a bright red light. In the direction of the upper end of the central channel, there is a white Hum (藏文:ཧཾ་,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum) syllable facing downwards. Meditate on the essence of the bindu as comfortable, cool, and about to melt. At the junction of the three channels at the lower end of the central channel, there is a red Ram (藏文:རཾ་,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,汉语字面意思:Ram) syllable facing upwards. The nature of fire is very hot. Measure about four finger-widths from the lower end of the central channel, and in the direction of the anus, there is a blue crescent-shaped wind mandala with a moving nature, serving as a cushion, with the cut surface facing forward. Once the basis of visualization becomes clear, exhale slowly. Then, the upper wind rises, inhale and press down towards the lower abdomen. At the same time, contract the lower wind, holding the connection to the navel. If you feel somewhat uncomfortable, you should relax. That is, without releasing any of the previously held breath, inhale again as little as possible. At the location of the navel, pull and press to the left, right, and center, and hold your breath as much as possible. If you feel uncomfortable again, practice using little force at first, greater force in the middle, and finally releasing quickly. Immediately after that, inhale again and meditate as before. Before becoming accustomed, if you feel tired, rest after four breaths, or eight, twelve, sixteen, twenty, twenty-four, twenty-eight, or thirty-two breaths. You must not stop arbitrarily. The visualization is: the breaths enter through the nostrils, pass through the path of Ro-kyang, and reach the junction of the three channels below the navel. When the lower wind is contracted, from the wind mandala of the anus, a very subtle blue wind rises like a spear, entering the lower end of the central channel. Thus, these three winds of Ro-kyang and downward-clearing, gather together and blow on the Ram (藏文:རཾ་,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,汉语字面意思:Ram) syllable, from which the fire of fierce wisdom blazes. Like a burning butter lamp, its tip is very thin and sharp, like a red hair. Subtle, clear, and radiant, it burns longer and longer. Several breaths.
