as well as walking, etc. In short, it is sufficient to practice in whatever way you remember, but especially for those kinds of discriminating thoughts that are difficult to calm, 12-564 for objects of attachment and clinging, as well as fear, dread, shame, and things that cause disgust, sometimes they are directly trampled upon when encountered. Sometimes, with the intention of illusion and dreams, they are made without any reliance. Sometimes, reverse meditation is performed without any fear. Sometimes, in a single instant, they are destroyed without hesitation. The twenty-sixth target cycle. Training the mind with the body is the practice of dream yoga. Training the body with the mind is luminosity and union, so it contains one essential point. Training with selflessness is union with luminosity. Training with intention is practice, so the methods of dream yoga practice are all contained in that one essential point. Therefore, one should practice either of these two. Expanding Dreams. Third, dream expansion, which is divided into expanding upon encounter and expanding as desired. The first is further divided into expanding the four elements in subtle and coarse forms, and expanding sentient beings in subtle and coarse forms. The first is: The preliminary practice is the same as before, but at the end, pray for blessings to be able to expand dreams. Then, for example, if you see a clod of earth in front of you, think: I am asleep. This seems to be earth in a dream. Thinking: What should I expand? Thinking of going there, thinking of expanding into two, and it becomes two. Similarly, first temporarily expand from three to ten, etc. Then gradually contract, becoming the original one. Eventually, through gradual learning and practice, you will be able to expand into whatever you want, and you will also be able to contract the fundamental clod of earth into one. Moreover, if you repeatedly meditate on this target during the day, you will be able to grasp the dream at night. Even if you remember this expansion target and meditate, some people may not be able to expand and contract at first, but if you meditate with strong intention, after a few days you will be able to expand a little. Then gradually it becomes 12-565 better. Some people can expand from the very beginning. Not only that, but emanation transformation is similar to this. First, get used to something like a clod of earth, and when you can contract and expand, then gradually learn others, from coarse earth like mountains, to subtle pebbles or

Practice from coarse clods of earth to fine dust. Practice from the coarse water element, such as rivers and lakes, to fine drops of water. Practice from the coarse fire element, such as great conflagrations, to fine sparks. Practice from the coarse wind element, such as great whirlwinds, to the fine breath of tiny creatures. Here, the "four elements" refer to all inanimate things, that is, practicing on everything contained in the external vessel world. This is the twenty-seventh contemplation sequence. Second, practice transforming coarse and subtle sentient beings: the preliminary is the same as before. If you suddenly see a person in front of you, think: Am I asleep? This seems like a person in a dream. How should I transform it? Transform from one, two, three to ten, and then gather them as before, and so on. Taking this as an example, practice on all sentient beings actually seen, such as horses and cows, from coarse horses and cows to fine tiny insects. This is the twenty-eighth contemplation sequence. Third, practice on what is to be subdued, divided into worldly and transcendental subduing. First, the transformation of worldly subduing mainly involves practicing the transformation of animal forms. One can also practice on inanimate objects such as fire and water, for example, transforming water as the antidote to fire. For example, if you see a mouse in front of you, think: This is a mouse in a dream, and I need to transform a subduer. Then a cat appears, and you think that the cat subdues the mouse. Then you think, how should I transform it? Transform the cat into many cats and contemplate subduing. Similarly, use a hawk for a bird, a wolf for a dog, a tiger for other wild animals, a lion for a tiger, a flame for a lion, water for fire, a rakshasa for a person, and so on. This should also be practiced. This is the twenty-ninth contemplation sequence. Second, the transformation of transcendental subduing: If oneself or others are harmed by spirits, a wrathful deity appears in front of oneself, and he binds the harmful spirit with a rope, tramples it with his feet, cuts it with weapons, burns it with flames, makes it faint from fright by uttering loud sounds with mantras, and so on, using various methods.
