Please grant blessings to perfect the illusory body and dream state. When combined, this becomes four types of supplications. However, according to the practice and oral tradition, such distinctions are not necessary for the three types of faculties: superior, middling, and inferior. It is said that there is no difference between performing five supplications or four supplications in all three cases. Then, after the guru dissolves into oneself, focus on the lower part of one's own body, which is visualized as the form of a deity, empty and clear inside. 12-549 There, visualize a triangular Dharma source (chos 'byung) that is white and clear in color. Its root is thin and points downwards, piercing downwards from just above the anus. Its base is large and points upwards, with the front corner pointing towards the navel, and the other two corners pointing towards the directions of the right and left kidneys. Visualize it as being of the nature of clear, transparent light. By focusing on it, visualize within it various forms of sentient beings of the six realms, with their bodies, enjoyments, colors, shapes, clothing, and appearances all generally different. Visualize the various ways in which they experience happiness and suffering, all filling the Dharma source to the brim. This is because all the imprints of karma and afflictions, which are the causes for taking birth in different realms in one's own mind-stream, manifest as the forms of the six realms respectively. Also, generate a little faith, thinking that the root syllables that manifest the appearances of the six realms below the navel, all manifest as those images. Then, from the perspective of believing that these are the actual sentient beings of the six realms, focus the mind on the six realms at the navel. In general, taking all sentient beings pervading space as the object, strongly cultivate the intention of non-truth, saying, "Whatever these are, they appear as appearances, but they are not true." Furthermore, thinking, "These beings wander in samsara because they grasp what is untrue as true, how pitiful," cultivate intense compassion and love. Also, pray that the guru may protect these beings from the suffering of samsara, thinking, "Father Guru, you know." Also, offer a prayer connected with the longing of devotion and reverence for the guru. Then, when focusing intently on those beings, the sentient beings of the six realms disappear one by one, two by two, gradually disappearing one after another. Finally, focus on the state of emptiness within the Dharma source. After that, no longer focus on the disappearance of the body and the Dharma source, etc. 12-55

Also, there is no need to fixate. Abide in non-grasping, free from all attachments. Furthermore, if you do not abide in that, then contemplate all self and other, container and contents, as illusory. Appearing yet non-existent. Knowing that it appears but is not established. Thus, one round of contemplation is completed. Meditate on that again and again. This has eight key points of contemplation and attachment: Contemplating the origin of Dharma. Contemplating the six realms. Training the six realms to be without reality. Generating compassion, Guru's supplication. Training the six realms into emptiness. Guarding one's own state. Contemplating appearances and existence as illusion. In general, it is said that there is no deeper contemplation than this. The practice in between sessions is also only a combination of three intentions. That is, it is not possible to have any of the three intentions arise from the very beginning. First, strive to have any intention arise during the session. In this way, train each of the three intentions one by one. Finally, if you make the wish to not be separated from any one of the three, you will not be separated from any one of them. For example, first put on the armor of wishing that the intention of death and impermanence will always arise during the session. During the session, remember as much impermanence as possible. In this way, if you are guarded by the sentinel of mindfulness during the session, in about a month or two, the intention of impermanence will arise in most sessions. If that happens, temporarily abandon it and train in devotion to the Guru in the same way. If that also happens, then temporarily abandon both of them and train in the intention of illusion in the same way. If that also happens in most sessions, then after that, just make the wish to not be separated from any one of the three intentions, and you will not be separated from any one of them. The seventeenth contemplation section. Second, taking sickness and demonic obstacles as the path. In the three instruction manuals and the old supplements, the meaning is the same, but the terminology is uncertain. The meaning is all-inclusive, but there are various situations. This is the definitive one. If you take sickness as the path, then the appearance of being sick is also, purifying bad karma and obscurations, and is an encouragement for virtuous practice, therefore it is the compassionate blessing of a qualified Guru. Thinking how great the kindness is, regard the sickness as the nature of the Guru. Pray intensely. Finally
