11-420 Making the left contracted and the right extended in the middle, and reversing that, and making the mother deity's body red in color, etc., these are all the differences in the appearance of the deity. Unifying the cause Vajradhara and the effect Vajradhara, and generating the five manifest enlightenments, etc., these generation stage rituals that are in accordance with other tantras are the intentions of the respective sadhanas. Although not all are impermissible, it is not appropriate to mix them together. The third part is from "perfectly endowed with the first mantra" to "wisdom arising from the play of mind." There are two explanations for this: the direct meaning and the definitive meaning. The first is to show the accomplishment of the pill of samaya substance, the কর্ম (karma, activity), and the benefits. As will be explained, the first mantra is the syllable Oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡). If you meditate on it as being perfectly endowed with the other three letters, the samaya substance will quickly blaze up at that very moment. Also, in the Glorious Guhyasamaja it says, "The deeds of feces, urine, flesh, and the secret vajra words, the syllable Oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) in all mantras, if meditated upon, will immediately blaze up." Thus, if the yogi practices to stabilize the samaya substance, the heat, smoke, and kindling of fire {as [seeing]} will have the power to greatly bestow the fruit of the accomplishment of the substance. Relying on the accomplishment of the yoginis, many signs will immediately arise that will establish true faith, such as the dakinis gathering and blessing, saying, "The practitioner dwells in this place," and then sounds, lights, showers of flowers, fragrant smells, the falling of nectar, the smiling of images, the appearance of the bodies of the mantra deities, and prophecies, etc., will occur. This refers to the meaning of these phenomena. Applying the accomplishment to activities is to protect the substance at that time, make offerings to the deity, and obtain accomplishment. Applying it to activities is: if you put the pill in your mouth, all gods and humans will not see you. Or, if you want to transform into many forms, eat the pill and apply it to your body, the structure of your body will appear and be shown to others, even appearing in a thousand forms. The benefit is: similarly, swallowing the pill yourself

And so on, if one generates the thought of wanting to seize the eye medicine, the art of swift walking, treasures, and other accomplishments of others, then one will be able to seize these from all other attainers of common accomplishments, and will be able to enjoy them together with the supreme goddesses, that is, the vidyādharas. Those who are known as emanations of the Buddha, equal to the number of grains of sand in the Ganges River, those who dwell in their own vajra places, that is, in the pure lands such as Sukhāvatī, will be seen by the direct perception of the vajra eye, just like placing a myrobalan fruit in one's hand. Similarly, it is also implicitly indicated that the vajra ear, the vajra nose, the vajra tongue, and the vajra body will experience sound, smell, taste, and great tactile sensations. Sixth, the explanation of the direct perception of the mind is: the body, speech, and mind that dwell in as many realms as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, that is, the nature of the three aspects of body, speech, and mind of sentient beings, namely, form, action, and behavior, know all the natures of the essence, cause, and effect of all things, both stable and moving. Moreover, they also know that those are the play of the mind, arising only from the magical display of the mind. Alternatively, play is entertainment such as dancers, etc. Even if one does not grasp it as real, one can understand it by watching the play of the mind or various performances. It can also be understood in this way. Such Buddhas and all sentient beings that are seen in this way are only mind in the conventional truth. As the ḍākinī Vajra Tent says: All that arises from space, becomes the basis of all dharmas, is the nature of the supreme bliss pure mind, the nature of the mind pure like space, the nature of object and faculty, even though it is not something outside of the mind, the various appearances of form, etc., are only the appearance of the mind itself. And, in the non-empty external object, how does the empty mind appear? As the Tathāgatas said: From the beginningless continuum of existence, what is designated as an external object, all is a transformation of the mind.
