Verses. Then, in order to completely purify the disciple's continuum, the five purifications are performed, namely: I have committed sins, and instigated others to commit them, and rejoiced in them. In the presence of all the Buddhas, I confess them all one by one. Thus, sins are confessed. Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Pratyekabuddhas, Arhats, and all beings, as well as the accumulations of meditation, recitation, and merit, I rejoice in them all. Thus, rejoicing is done. The illusory principal deities, father and mother, as well as the Dakinis, and the supreme Dharma of the unsurpassed Secret Mantra Vehicle, I also take refuge in them. Thus, refuge is taken. All the Sugatas of the three times, and all the Bodhisattvas, just as they have generated the mind of enlightenment, so too, I generate the mind. Thus, the mind is generated. May my virtuous deeds quickly bring enlightenment to the world. 11-285 May I liberate all beings from the ocean of suffering in Samsara, to the unsurpassed state. Thus, the roots of virtue are dedicated. The vows are repeated three times. Then, with supplication as the preliminary, the commitment to uphold the vows is made: Protector of beings, please be mindful of me, all the Sugatas abiding in the ten directions, from this time until enlightenment, may the unsurpassed ones look upon me. Just as the Protectors of the three times, have determined in Bodhi, the unsurpassed mind of Bodhi, I also generate the supreme mind. Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, the unsurpassed Three Jewels, the vows born from the Yoga of the Buddha, I uphold from this day forward. In the great and supreme Vajra family, the Vajra bell and hand mudra also, I uphold them truly, and the teachers also I uphold. In the great and supreme Ratna family, in the pleasing vows, every day in the six times, I constantly give the four kinds of giving. From the great Bodhi, in the pure great Lotus family, the three vehicles of outer, inner, and secret, the supreme Dharma also, I uphold them all. The teachings, accumulating virtuous dharmas, and the three disciplines that benefit sentient beings, I shall firmly uphold. The undivided brahmacharya, I shall protect my own vows. The supreme bodhicitta, the noble one, I have generated, and for the sake of all sentient beings, I shall uphold all vows without exception. May those who are not liberated be liberated, may those who are not delivered be delivered, may those who have not breathed be given breath, and may sentient beings be established in nirvana. Thus, let them repeat after me. The disciples instantly transform into Herukas. Mark the three places with fragrant tilakas. In those very places, generate the three syllables and the three emblems. Invite Akshobhya, Amitabha, and Vairocana, and dissolve them. Offer the five offerings to them. To examine the signs of accomplishment, give a willow branch with Om（藏文：ༀ，梵文天城体：ओ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ，汉语字面意思：Om）, Ah（藏文：ཨཱཿ，梵文天城体：आ，梵文罗马拟音：āḥ，汉语字面意思：Ah）, Hum（藏文：ཧཱུཾ，梵文天城体：हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Hum） to the disciple. Let them throw it onto the fivefold mandala, which is in accordance with the common practice. Then, purify with kusha grass, the three syllables, and fragrant water, and offer them as a cushion and seat. To pacify obstacles, tie the protection cord, which has been recited with the essence mantra seven times, to the disciple's arm. Then, explain the profound and vast Dharma: In all realms of the world, whether the all-knowing one arises or does not arise, like the udumbara flower, they appear occasionally on the great path, or they may not appear. The emergence of the practice of secret mantra is even more difficult to find than that, for it can accomplish the incomparable benefit of sentient beings, and it can accomplish the unsurpassed benefit. This profound practice of non-duality is what enables sentient beings to attain Buddhahood. From the beginning of countless eons, whatever sins have been accumulated, all of those sins are exhausted by seeing the profound mandala. Thus, speak and explain the meaning. Examine dreams, and if they are bad, protect against them, which is the same as the common practice. Then, the subsequent activities: if there is a feast gathering, it should be done at this time, and offer tormas to the worldly and transmundane deities according to the sadhana. The master goes inside the curtain,
