Like the sky, emptiness is profound. Because it pervades all appearances, it is vast. Because there is no near or far, it is pervasive. Because it is continuous and its nature is unchanging, it is constant. Because the door of clear appearance is unceasingly manifested as the body, it is the wisdom body. Because appearance and emptiness are inseparable, it is union. Because it is originally blended into one taste with the object and subject, it is great bliss. The path is: In order to manifest the very nature that abides in the ground, one must meditate in a manner that is consistent with both the ground and the result. That is, meditating on no-self-nature is profound. Even though it appears in all things, one must learn to appear as the nature of self-awareness, which is vast. Making it pervasive to all things is pervasive. Learning that the nature of mind is unchanging is constant. Learning to appear as the mandala of deities is the wisdom body. Mixing the appearance of the deity's body with bliss and emptiness into one taste is union. Relying on melting bliss to represent the innate nature, therefore it is the unchanging bliss. These all need to be combined with detailed methods of practice through the distinctions of empowerment and generation and completion stages, but they are omitted because they are too cumbersome and worried about too many words. Third, combining the wisdom of the Buddha of the result: Because it truly knows the reality of non-elaboration, it is profound. Because it knows all dependent origination as it is, wisdom is vast. The three bodies of Dharmakaya are connected to the edge of the sky, without near or far. The two bodies of Rupakaya are also in the infinite world, and for the infinite number of disciples, once the time is ripe, they will immediately appear, etc., because it exists as if it pervades all things at once, it is called pervasive or going anywhere. The three bodies are indestructible and the essence never changes, which is constant. Self-appearance and its causes also appear as a combination with seven branches, which is the wisdom body. The appearance of various manifestations to the disciples is also included in this. Body and wisdom are inseparable, which is union. The innate and unchanging bliss, the support and the supported become inseparable, which is bliss. The meaning of the text. Second

Regarding the meaning of the chapter: There is the act of entering into explanation, as well as placing the explanation itself nearby, and the act of completing the explanation. ◎The act of entering into explanation: First, there is praise and vowing to compose. The first is paying homage to the guru and the beings' guru, the Buddha, who are inseparable. After paying homage in this way, what should be done? The second is: to fully clarify all those things called "Thatness" spoken of in the tantras. ◎Placing the explanation itself nearby: Second, there is the praise of Thatness, as well as the categories of Thatness spoken of in the tantras, and the detailed explanation of the meaning at hand in seven ways, as well as digressions and the establishment of the path. ◎The praise of Thatness: First, even if one hears all eighty-four thousand aggregates of the Great Sage's teachings, if one does not know the Thatness within them, then all that hearing is fruitless, because one does not know the path of liberation from them. As it is said, in the sutras: "However much one speaks, one is not a holder of the Dharma. Whoever here hears little, but directly realizes the dharmas of the body." In the Five Stages, it is also said: "The stage of self-blessing, whoever has not attained it, for sutras, tantras, and conceptualizations, his effort is meaningless." And so on. Among these, this single verse comes from the Tantra of the Four Goddesses' Questions. Therefore, Thatness is the essence of the meaning of all the tantras, the unsurpassed means of attaining Buddhahood in this very life, and is like the supreme nectar pill. Therefore, one should correctly extract the essential meaning—Thatness—from the vast sutras and tantras. ◎The categories of Thatness spoken of in the tantras: Second, there is speaking of Thatness as only one, showing Thatness as two, showing as four, speaking as fourteen, speaking as seven, other scattered categories, and showing Thatness as twelve. First, the Thatness that speaks of Thatness as only one is: the nature of being free from all elaboration, self-aware, is emptiness. Thus, the Buddha
