As it is said, "All are well gone." The Activity of Completing the Explanation Third, the activity of completing the explanation has three parts: Admonishing to practice the path, dedicating the merit, and for whom it was done. First, just like the wisdom of the Buddha, which possesses the seven suchness, the empowerments of the mundane and supramundane, and the stages of generation and completion, one should diligently meditate on these seven suchness. Second, may this merit and other virtuous deeds, may all limitless beings be free from all faults of the two obscurations. May they at some point become endowed with all qualities, perfect the qualities of the Buddha, and the nature of abandonment and realization. Third, in the root and explanatory tantras of glorious Chakrasamvara, the meaning of the vajra song sung by the great accomplished Jalandhara, which is truly clarified in an extremely extensive manner, this commentary on the seven suchness, the essential points of the oral instructions, should be diligently, that is, carefully, made free from all impurities in the essential points of meaning. For whom was it done? It was because I, the protector of deliverance, prayed. Thus, this commentary on the seven suchness was made by the Venerable Buddha Rakshita, who is inseparable from Eastern Kampala. Thus, it was composed by me. This treatise, the great Vajra Acharya Guru Southern, and Kunga Nyingpo, after hearing detailed explanations and oral instructions from me, translated it as a loan. By combining this treatise and the Ear of Liberation well, one will generate supreme certainty in all tantras {giving [bestowing] also}. Here it is said: The good path of all guides, not just one side, is the mandala of union. Here it has been clarified, the wise should at this time strive to pour out the desired true meaning. Thus, the commentary on the seven suchness, named the Precious Ear of Explanation, has clarified the uncommon views, and has been adorned with appropriate divisions and conclusions. By diligently abandoning self-creations that contradict the scriptures of sutras and tantras, the unerring oral instructions as they are, thus, the national teacher Ta

Tha, nearing his twenty-fourth year, on the twenty-fifth day of the Wo month in the year named 'Hanging,' the scribe who wrote this at the solitary place of Nakgyal, Jomo Nang, was Drakpa Zangpo. The carved letters were written by Kunga Lekpa. By the merit of this, may I always open the heart of the supreme Lama, and may I become the protector of beings, and may both purposes be perfectly fulfilled! Śubhamastu (藏文ཤུབྷམསྟུས,梵文 शुभमस्तु,Romanization śubhamastu, May there be auspiciousness!), Sarvajagatāṃ (藏文སརྦ་ཛག་ཏཱཾ,梵文 सर्वजगतां,Romanization sarvajagatāṃ, To all the world!)
