Therefore, seeing the arising with causes, one does not accept that it is non-existent; seeing the cessation with causes, one does not accept that it is existent. Thus it is said. This negates the two situations of being both existent and non-existent. And the other fourth possibility does not exist. Among these three, it transcends the past, is without elaboration, and is beyond expression. If all things are compounded by causes and conditions, then what is the nature of reality? Although there is no other nature of reality apart from the things that are spoken of, the nature of reality itself is not compounded by causes and conditions, because in ultimate truth there are no causes and conditions. If one asks what is the reason for the absence of inherent existence? If it existed, it would have to be established as either one or many, but if one investigates and analyzes, one will find that it is contrary to this. If we elaborate here, {the ways of reasoning could be extensively discussed, but it would lead to many words, and only the essence of the meaning is spoken. The second is that because the nature of mind has no beginning or end, it is both emptiness and spontaneously present. Similarly, for each of the following, one should understand the meaning of both of these. The essence of mind is primordially free from defilements, completely transcends place and time, is unapprehended, and its essence has no nature of grasper and grasped. The realm, that is, the primordial dharmadhatu, is also without inherent existence, and from the nature of selflessness, the appearances of mind arise, arising without lacking causes and conditions, and from the beginning abiding in self-aware great bliss, this is the mandala (藏文,མཎྜལ་,梵文天城體,मण्डल,梵文羅馬擬音,Maṇḍala,漢語字面意思:壇城) of emptiness, the ultimate truth. If we derive it from the word "mandala," mandala is the taking of the essence, and the meaning of the essence is also that it is located in the center, therefore it is difficult to obtain, and because it is unchanging, it has the meaning of being solid, therefore it is mandala. Therefore, the essence of all dharmas, the unchanging nature, is the single emptiness, and for the sake of taking it, the mandala is: truly and correctly realizing that emptiness also has all aspects, and the one who realizes and takes it is also the self-awareness of great bliss wisdom, which is free from all characteristics of elaboration. The meaning of the words is that the nature of mind is great bliss, free from elaboration, and the knower and the known are indivisible.

What appears is the spontaneously accomplished mandala of ultimate truth. Its essence is not newly produced, but spontaneously accomplished, and it is also the mandala of all forms. As it is said, a mandala is said to be the essence. Bodhicitta is great bliss. Because it is received, it is the mandala itself. The assembly is said to be the mandala itself. Thus, the mandala of bliss and emptiness inseparable, and the self-aware self-nature is pure. Purity is not liberation by others, because the objects of the realm are pure. One's own awareness is supreme bliss. Thus, supreme bliss is also said to be self-aware. Fifth, spontaneous accomplishment: the nature completely separated from defilements is spontaneous accomplishment. The inner, that is, the realization of the bliss and emptiness of nature, all the qualities of essence also abide as spontaneously accomplished. Therefore, the Dharmakaya of any mind is spontaneously accomplished. The so-called spontaneous accomplishment, as stated in the sutra, "Non-conceptual spontaneous accomplishment," is like not making distinctions. All qualities and activities arise effortlessly. There are many explanations for this. In the Mahayana Uttaratantra Shastra and the Sutra on Entering the Inconceivable Qualities and Wisdom, etc., it is also explained in the same way, and it is used at the time of fruition. Here, it is used in the sense of originally abiding and existing from the beginning, indicating that the wisdom of fruition has already been accomplished from the basic period of essence. Sixth, equality: completely abandoning all attachment to duality, the self-nature of all dharmas becomes one, there is no impure appearance, and there is no movement of conceptualization. From the perspective of observing conventional truth, it is like applying sandalwood paste and cutting with a sharp instrument, without love or hatred, but remaining in equanimity. It is the fruit of abandoning afflictions, and one and many, near and far, etc., all become equal. For all dharmas, there is no wide or narrow. This is the fruit of abandoning the obscuration of knowledge, and it is the meaning of equality. Seventh, union: the Dharma of the Form Body, conventional truth, and the Dharma of wisdom, ultimate truth, the two becoming equality is union. Just as the nature of the realm has no duality, so is wisdom.
