Therefore, since it is fully understood that the essence of all dharmas is extremely difficult to understand, it becomes easy to understand their aspects through reasoning, that is, becoming omniscient. The way of understanding is to understand how reality exists as it is, and how many phenomena appear, and how they exist. This is not understood through subsequent cognition arising from reliance on metaphors and arguments, but through the valid means of yogic direct perception. Therefore, when establishing terms, one establishes the object to be measured and the means of measuring, while the essence is as it is and as many as it is, and the wisdom that knows both of these, these essences are one. Because, from the ultimate point of view, the other's realization of the other is impossible. Therefore, in the ultimate truth, there is no distinction between the object to be measured and the means of measuring, so it is beyond conceptual thought. Some say that the Buddha has the direct perception of the mind of power, and that although there are dualistic appearances, they are not mistaken, etc., which seems unreasonable, but due to the pressure of words, a moderate attitude is adopted. Fourth, on emptiness. It is divided into explaining emptiness itself, and explaining the meaning of spontaneously accomplished and common. First, all things arise from the aggregation of causes and conditions, therefore they are not established by their own nature. Or, all dharmas are dependently originated in dependence on others, therefore they are empty of self-nature. For example, relative to small, large is established, but from the point of view of self-nature, there is no reason to be established as large. Small is also established in dependence on large, therefore, since they depend on each other, neither can be established. Non-arising means not arising from self, other, both, and without cause. Arising is empty of self-nature, because all that is produced and can be produced, from the point of view of self-nature, has no reason to be clung to. Thus, the noble teacher also said: "Not from self, not from other, not from both, nor without cause, in whatever place, whatever thing, whatever dharma, its arising is never existent." etc., should be widely quoted. Thus, since it is dependent origination, there is no clinging to arising, therefore, the self-nature of all things is not existent, because it cannot be clung to in any way. It cannot be said to be non-existent either, because the appearance of unfailing cause and effect will not be cut off. Thus, the noble one
