However it is explained, it is said to be for the purpose of understanding what is heard. Therefore, the Buddhas know that it is an answer, but it is not related to the previous text. In the 'Drok Translation' it says: 'For the sake of the nature of one's own awareness, the Buddhas do not know by aspects. For the sake of the nature of one's own awareness, the Buddhas themselves know by aspects.' These two lines are superfluous, meaning that they do not know because the knowable and the knower are different, and they know because the nature is the same. Regarding the phrase 'The mind is meeting and combining,' in later translations it says, 'Combining is the mind and meeting.' And there is also an explanation that combining is co-emergent, the mind is bliss, and non-conceptual co-emergent meeting. According to the sentence, it should also be explained in this way, only explaining the meaning of bliss and emptiness. Drok translates it as 'Combining is an inconceivable union.' If translated in this way, the meaning is the wisdom of meaning, the union of bliss and emptiness, and the wisdom of union of the two inconceivable aspects, which is represented by the wisdom of example: just as the city of the thirty-three gods seen in a dream represents the city of the thirty-three gods that will be seen the next day; just as the bliss of youth represents the bliss of the union of the two faculties. Secondly: 'Having well established the Bhaga Linga, meditate on the recollection of the Buddha. What kind of wisdom will arise, which is without beginning, middle, end, and impurity? This wisdom, by self-awareness, cannot be spoken to others. Abiding in the center of the sphere of space, one should meditate on the mandala of the Guru.' And so on, by which that itself is spoken. The sixteen recollections abide, abiding in the realm of great bliss and space, manifestly called Sukhavati. The aggregates, elements, and sources all arise from that. All the protectors of the world, and the birthplaces of gods such as Brahma, and all the changes in the three realms, all certainly arise from that. The Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and the kings of wrathful deities, all arise from that and also pass into Nirvana in that. In all the Vedic tenets, it is greatly renowned as the one essence. That Sukhavati is the supreme of divine substances, the Buddhas
