Ma. In order to divide eight into four parts by means of rough numbers, it should be divided into thirty-two outer and inner elements. In general, in this vehicle, there is no phenomenon of characteristics that is not pervaded by the characteristics of the four elements, and the essence of the four elements, the four wisdoms, pervade and abide in all. 10-257 It is also so. In those states of all kinds, the Great Bliss Vajrasattva himself, abiding in the manner of pervasion, fulfills the hopes of those (beings) by increasing perfect qualities. Among them, the uncontaminated qualities will increase by their own nature, and the contaminated qualities also arise from that (Vajrasattva's) power. Just like that, if the Buddha-nature did not exist, there would be no weariness of suffering, and there would be no desire for Nirvana, nor would there be seeking and aspiration. Thus it is said. The explanation of the term Vajrasattva is: Vajra is shown as the mind free from elaboration, and Sattva is said to be unchanging bliss and joy, therefore it is non-duality of bliss and emptiness. That bliss also arises from the four moments, therefore it is shown as four kinds of joy, namely the joy symbolized by various moments, the supreme joy symbolized by ripening, the joy of separation from desire symbolized by detachment, and the nature of innate joy symbolized by the absence of characteristics. From the state of the four moments, the four joys also truly appear. In that case, from the four moments, what are the four joys that can arise and symbolize? It is the supreme, that is, the wisdom of great bliss. The unchanging mind that becomes of one taste together with those four joys is called Vajrasattva in this context. Its characteristic is: being liberated from the craving of desire and discrimination, and because the wisdom of melting bliss and similarity is the ultimate nature of the all-pervading great bliss of desire, therefore it is liberated from the sign of detachment, all elaborations and signs are naturally completely pure, and whichever yogi once directly attains the absence of the stain of dependent bindu changes, 10-258 will reach the other shore of the ocean of samsara, and will not return.

It is renowned as "always abiding in the world." Thus, regarding the explanation of the meaning of abiding, "Buddhas, Bodhicitta, etc." explains all kinds of ways of abiding, and "showing as Vajrasattva, etc." explains the way of abiding in great bliss. Here it is said: The nature of mind is ultimate great bliss, and it is also experienced through self-awareness. Therefore, all beings desire happiness, and this conceptual thought arises naturally. Experiencing the Dharmadhatu is not a feeling, there is no difference between the experiencer, the experienced, and the way of experiencing. Ultimate experience or ultimate feeling, from the opposite side of experience, is also free from elaboration. It is not just free from elaboration, but experiences great bliss, and from the opposite side of emptiness, it also appears as bliss. The aspect of bliss is elaboration, emptiness is non-elaboration, so saying that the union of falsehood is different from this. When bliss and non-elaboration are established separately, although conceptual thoughts understand in their own ways, for that reason alone, there can never be a difference in the state of reality. All phenomena of samsara and nirvana arise in the mind, and the innate wisdom also desires this, therefore the nature of mind, the Dharmadhatu, is also established as having all ultimate aspects. The four joys at this time are distinguished only by the uncontaminated co-emergent. Although the essence of the four joys of Dharmata is only one, in this stage of learning union, the appearance of Dharma and Dharmata appears like a painting, so there are various situations where it appears as one and appears as different. Because the appearance of the grasped and the grasper has been abandoned and Dharmata is directly seen, it appears as one in most samadhi. However, because the habitual tendencies of dualistic grasping have not been abandoned, there are also times when it appears as different at the same time in post-meditation and samadhi. Because there are habitual tendencies in the places of change in the supporting body, there are also situations where it appears as different entities appearing one after the other. In any case, the bliss of the secret of the body is joy, the bliss of the secret of speech is supreme joy, the bliss of the secret of mind is joylessness or special joy, and the co-emergent joy is when they are of equal taste and the path and mind appear without change. From the self-sound of bliss, the form of the three realms.
