of the great, etc. For the purpose of applying to thought, the preceding and following words will become inconsistent. Therefore, the meaning of the treatise will not go beyond what has been said above. Secondly, the characteristics of meditation are: the mind is a jewel, truly knowing it. Only it can understand the essence of the Dharma. Even if it is spoken, will others be able to understand it? This is saying. There are two points to this. The first point, the nature of the stages of meditation, is: mind, etc., that is, one should always meditate on that form. In this way, first, with the stages of wisdom, one should strongly direct one's own mind to the empty form. With the stages of conceptualization, one should mix it slightly. With the stages of practice, one should realize that one's own mind has truly become the jewel of the empty form, and from this, the stages of joy and happiness arise. Here, the mind referred to is not only the six consciousnesses, but refers to the mind in the sense of body, speech, and mind, so it means one's own consciousness. It is not contradictory that there are also six consciousnesses among them. 10-133 However, in reality, the mind of Dharma-nature, the clear light empty form, is originally accomplished, but in the appearance of consciousness, it is said here as the phenomenon of the empty form gradually mixing and becoming one. That is also understood as the nature of mere consciousness, with the stages of meditation, at this time, the mind of Dharma-nature and the mind of samsara are not distinguished. The second point, the function of the limbs of meditation, is: only it, etc. As it is also said in the later tantra of the glorious Kalachakra: "With the meditation that makes it one, it also completely abandons external objects." It is said. Starting from the stages of meditation, the function of all the limbs of meditation that exist up to the stages of samadhi is: to gradually purify impure appearances into empty form, therefore, with the yoga of meditating on the inseparability of form and mind, abiding in the state of oneness, one can fully know that the nature of all phenomena of appearance and sound is originally empty, and the state of all kinds of self-nature. Even if many metaphors, reasoning, and differences of treatises are spoken, besides meditating on the inseparability of form and mind, can one understand the reality of other things? One cannot understand. This method and

If separated from these, it is not enough to merely meditate on non-discrimination, nor is it enough to merely engage in wisdom's analytical meditation, nor is it enough to merely accumulate merit such as generosity. Because even within one lifetime or seven lifetimes, one cannot even realize the false conventional truth, let alone actually realize all-knowing wisdom. Third, regarding the subsequent arising merits of the two types of recollection and mindfulness, it is divided into a general explanation of the meaning and a separate explanation of how its immutability is achieved. First: "The naturally occurring mind that goes on the path, by what is it bound? Its three places are all without remainder, expanded and then gathered again." It means that the six consciousnesses that go on the path of objects such as form, together with the essential body's nature of mind and energy, are bound by four independences or three immovables, or three isolations, or the two yogas of day and night, or like the three points of the nose converging into one, by means of effortless non-discrimination. That is to say, this act of binding is the nature of individual gathering or the limbs of meditation. These two yogas are uninterrupted from the initial karmic person to the final ultimate person, so they should not be regarded only as the stages of recollection and mindfulness. In this way, with the yoga of non-discrimination and focusing on emptiness-form, the wisdom fire of inner heat blazes, and the three places of body, speech, and mind are completely expanded with bliss in the order of the four ascending joys and sixteen joys, and then again from Ratna (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,ratna,Jewel) onwards, in the order of the four descending stable joys and sixteen joys, the movement of bindus is gathered up to the crown of the head. This function is also similar to the recollection and mindfulness of the life-force exertion stages, and what is actually accomplished first is the recollection and mindfulness of the holding stage, while the recollection and mindfulness of the memory-meditation stage has more functions. Furthermore, through the yoga of non-discrimination and emptiness-form, the three places of body, speech, and mind are completely, the emptiness-form of the images of the three realms, as well as all aspects of indestructible sound, and the bliss of melting ease and immutability, will appear in the yogi's mind.
