There are three reasons why this is not appropriate: this is not the supreme of oral instructions, and it does not become meaningful to explain to disciples, and it is difficult to practice without distinguishing the differences between hearing, thinking, and meditating. First, what is your view of hearing and thinking? Is it not explained in the scriptures, or is it very hidden even if it is explained, and only clear in the oral tradition, or is it this itself that actually appears in the scriptures? If it is like the first two, then it is also necessary to show their scriptural and logical proofs, and if it is a meditation that is examined, then there is no characteristic that has been completely determined by other intellects and is extremely superior in terms of necessary abilities. However, if it is a settling meditation, then is it holding the mind on happiness itself or meditating on something else? If it is like the former, how can it be a view of hearing and thinking since it does not rely on scriptural and logical proofs? That alone is not the supreme oral instruction. However, if the mind is only placed on the statement that "happiness does not exist ultimately," then it is only grasping at names. However, if it is determined and meditated on by scriptural and logical proofs, then it is the same as before. Furthermore, meditating on such bliss and emptiness is also often found in beginners among Vajra holders, so how can it be something that others do not have? Second, saying that such a thing is also the meaning of teaching, then what is teaching? Like the explanations of the tantras and great accomplished ones, or like the explanations of the previous lamas of the tradition that one follows? If it is like the former, such a way of meditating on emptiness is a common meaning, and it is said to be explained to the assembly, so it is not appropriate. If it is like the latter, explaining the condensed realization as an assembly teaching, and explaining the meaning of the scriptures in detail as a teaching, then no necessary ability is established. What is contained in your thoughts is only whether the explanation is good or bad. Because of the perception that the assembly teaching is a teaching, explaining the treatises also makes the same distinction, and the assembly teaching is only a collection of words, so it is said that it is not necessary when taking the meaning of the essence, and that the assembly teaching and the teaching are two different chariot traditions, etc., should not be brought up in the assembly of scholars, but only amaze the ignorant who have not studied much. Third, mixing the view of hearing and thinking, is it mixing both or each one?

Sre. Firstly, if it's like the first case, it would lead to two thoughts arising simultaneously. If mixed with listening to the Dharma, although related to wisdom, since it follows the scriptures, when bliss arises, one must remember the scriptures, which would lead to a peculiar philosophical system. If the wisdom arising from contemplation is needed, then one must consider the ultimate of meditation instructions. This depends on whether you speak or not. If you speak, then it's good, it should be extensively investigated. If one merely holds the thought that this is not true, then it's just a conceptual notion, and cannot become the wisdom that finds certainty. If done alternately, then it would lead to both faults. Because the definitive knowledge of thorough investigation and meditation is very abundant in meditation-arising wisdom, and even if the wisdom arising from listening and thinking and the meditation-arising wisdom have no common basis, those mantra practitioners who do not understand this and do not keep it in mind, even if led by the mind, it's just illogical chatter that cannot establish a firm philosophical foundation. If one abides in the non-conceptual state of bliss, how can the definitive knowledge arising from listening and thinking arise? The word "listening and thinking" is just boasting. Moreover, those lamas whom one considers as the standard also say that this view is poisonous. Therefore, all the faults here, not to mention personal experience, are due to the lack of the lama's instructions, just making vain explanations and mistaking a rough understanding for experience. Enough of elaboration. The fourth is: Therefore, recognize that the nature of the mind is great bliss. Secondly, there are three methods for accomplishment: directly indicating the method, pointing out that it is the essence of all scriptures, and pointing out that innate wisdom cannot be found apart from instructions. In the first method, there are six branches, three immovables, four yogas, two essentials, and fourteen natures. 10-63 First are the six branches. Ema, which means: feeling amazed at the wisdom of the Dharma nature from which the co-emergent nature manifests from these instructions. The so-called six refers to the six branches of yoga. Saying six again refers to the six aggregates, six realms, and six sense bases, each branch will purify. Among them, the first of the six branches, individually gathering, refers to gathering the wind and mind at the upper end of the central channel.
