Now, those who gradually become stable are the main objects of taming, so considering them, most of the tantric scriptures are taught in a sequential manner. In general, the sequence is that the generation stage precedes, however, for those who cannot practice without one or the other, there is no contradiction even if only a portion is shown. It is ridiculous that one's own sect and its affiliates do not practice either of the two, but waste their lives, thinking that this is good, and considering it a fault to practice only the completion stage. Even if not much similar realization has arisen, it is far superior to not having arisen even a single realization of both the generation and completion stages. In general, if one practices sequentially without having arisen any realization of either the generation or completion stage, a qualified realization will arise, otherwise it will not arise, which is completely nonsense without understanding causality. Although they say that it is based on scripture, there are many who say that one should first practice the generation stage and then the completion stage. If one does not gain stability in the preceding generation stage, no matter how much one practices the completion stage, a qualified realization of the completion stage will not arise. Although it seems like scripture, if one does not quote it, let alone a qualified realization. Who would be pleased with a false vow? Therefore, it is uncertain and depends on the individual. In most cases, the venerable Nagarjuna said, "Those who are well-versed in the generation stage and desire the completion stage, this method was taught by the complete Buddha, like a ladder." This means that one should first practice the generation stage and then the completion stage. The sequence between sessions is also the same in terms of the main meaning. Fifth, because of the meaning of lineage and the difference of skillful means, and because it is the nature of the three purities, liberation is reasonable. This view of the early lamas is meaningful, the words are extensive and beautiful, so if we say it like that, firstly, the three tantras are one tantra expanded by one tantra, because "the cause is expanded by the effect, and the effect is also expanded by the cause," as it is said in the All Secret Tantra. At the time of the basis, there is the lineage of self-nature, and the lineage of the mind expanding on the path, and the attainment of the fruit is also the lineage.

It becomes the master. Because both the proximate cause and the co-emergent condition are complete, the result manifests. Second, refuting the argument, if the generation stage is the visualization of the deity's form and the completion stage is bliss, then how can liberation be achieved by meditating on discursive thoughts and desire? To this, although it is said that skillful means are the greatest of the four antidotes, it is difficult to give examples. In this way, because skillful means are the greatest antidote for reversing suppression. As it is said in the Hevajra Tantra: "By discursive thought, discursive thought; by existence, existence. Just as water enters the ear, it is drawn out by other water. Likewise, the discursive thought of things is purified by ascertaining it." It also says: "The inexhaustible karma of beings, by what is it bound? If with means, then by that itself (liberation)." This means that to prevent ordinary discursive thoughts, the discursive thought of the deity is achieved very quickly. For example, if one has a discursive thought of hostility towards someone, if one cultivates a discursive thought of loving-kindness as an antidote, it can be stopped immediately. But meditating on emptiness and so on is difficult. For ordinary desire, meditating on bliss and emptiness can quickly avert it, but this does not happen with mere emptiness and so on. Because one cultivates emptiness without attachment in order to generate desire, therefore, the cultivation of non-attachment arises incidentally for naturally arising desire. Third is a detailed explanation of the first point. This has three purities: the purity of suchness, the purity of each deity, and the purity of self-cognizance. First, at the base stage, all dharmas are pure because of suchness emptiness, so it is reasonable to be liberated by meditating on emptiness in the generation and completion stages, because this is meditating on the reality of things. Second, as mentioned above, the aggregates, elements, etc. are of the deity's lineage, so it is reasonable that meditating on them will manifest. Third, the lamas consider that the previous lamas appearing as body, face, hands, etc. are also mind, so it is reasonable that they can be manifested through the completion stage. Some later generations who think they fully understand the lama's intention think that everything that appears is mind, which is the purity of self-cognizance. Meditating on the completion stage will manifest it. And they claim that the three purities are established from the base stage. It is wonderful to know that appearance is mind from the base stage. Since it is already known, it is said that it cannot be manifested without cultivating the completion stage, what could be worse than that? While my own school is
