Like the "non-" of non-affirming emptiness, the sky does not allow for distinctions of pervasion and non-pervasion in relation to things. If it were otherwise, it would have to be said that rabbit horns do not exist, therefore "no rabbit horns" pervades all knowable things. Therefore, the mere absence of sentient being nature is the Tathagatagarbha, and it is believed that it does not pervade external objects. For example, if a vase is not the absence of sentient being nature, wouldn't it become that it has sentient being nature? Here it is said: Although the word of non-affirmation is greatly proclaimed, one non-non-affirmation is placed in the heart. It is wonderful to only think of it as being in sentient beings, this stainless and incomparable negation. The wise ones say that the Dharmakaya also pervades all dharmas. These wise ones who assert non-affirmation say this. These arrogant logicians who speak of contradictions and wasting time are foolish. To say that "what is not assembled is negated" is the mistake of the Vaibhashikas. To say that this is the unerring Middle Way is also nonsense. They themselves make mistakes and disrupt the lineage, and laugh at others who have not made mistakes. Those with wisdom should laugh even more at these people. This is an intermediate verse. Furthermore, when meditating on non-conceptual wisdom, hearing that one should meditate on ordinary consciousness, one considers ordinary consciousness to be bad and becomes displeased. Ordinary means nature and difference in change. For example, in Vajra Dakini it says, "The ordinary mantra-bodied one." The ordinary dakini mentioned here is also explained by the great teacher Bhava Bhadra as the co-emergent dakini. Therefore, it means co-emergent. The great accomplished Lлаваpa also said, "Ordinary consciousness awakens in the center of the heart." and so on, these should also be looked at. Secondly, the explanation of how to establish it as a causal continuum includes refuting errors and establishing one's own system. Firstly, some people think that the Tathagatagarbha, which is established as non-affirming, is the causal continuum. Abhaya and Shantipa also think so, and from the point of view of ultimate truth, it is so, but from the point of view of conventional truth, Lлаваpa said, "Explain to the practitioner who is very difficult to find." Naropa said, "Explain to a person like a precious jewel." Therefore, it is explained that only a person with good fortune is like that. Abhaya said in the "Ear of Instructions": Cause

香底巴(Śāntipa)在《掌中花》(snyim pa'i me tog)中说:“何为因之因,彼即是佛种。”

It is said to be the proximate cause of the Buddha. Śāntipa said in "A Flower in the Palm of the Hand": "Whatever is the cause of the cause, that is the Buddha-nature." Then, how can the non-affirming proximate cause and the lineage be combined? If only the wisdom that realizes selflessness is regarded as the Buddha-nature, then it is also the mother of the three noble ones, how can it only be the lineage of the Buddha? Moreover, it does not exist at the time of the basis of samsara, so there is no reason to become the cause of the cause. The term "རྒྱུད" (gyud, continuum, lineage) means "རྒྱུན་ཆགས" (gyun chags, continuous). The continuum is divided into three types: the basis, the nature, and the non-deprivation. The nature is the cause, the basis is the means, and the non-deprivation is the result. These three summarize the meaning of the continuum. Therefore, all three continuums are explained as having the meaning of being continuous. If the non-affirming, which has never arisen, and the continuous are regarded as the same thing, then one commits the unprecedented error of self-contradiction. Grasping this point and saying that other things are a collection of contradictions is an unwise act. It is easy to understand those mistakes even if one establishes the correct and unerring principle. Can the answer to the debate be exhaustive and be said in many lifetimes? The views of Lāvapā and Nāropā are also to recognize the nature of the mind in the heart of a fortunate person, rather than to acknowledge an inexpressible person's self and regard it as the continuum of the cause, which is very unreasonable. Secondly, recognizing the essence, how it becomes the continuum of the cause, and the method of practicing its meaning. First, as mentioned above, the luminosity of the nature of the mind is the intention of all the great vehicles. Here, self-awareness is also said to be great bliss. In the commentary on "རང་རིག་བདག་ཉིད་དག་པ་ཉིད། དག་པ་གཞན་གྱིས་རྣམ་གྲོལ་མིན། " (rang rig bdag nyid dag pa nyid/ dag pa gzhan gyis rnam grol min/, Self-awareness is self-purifying, purification is not liberated by others), the great accomplished one Ocean-Born (mTsho skyes) said that self-awareness is also great bliss. Do not think that this is melting bliss, so the nature of the mind is not said to be bliss. In the Hevajra Tantra (kyai rdo rje) it says: "Hell beings, hungry ghosts, animals, gods, demigods, humans, worms in excrement, and so on, gods and demigods also, those who do not know what happiness is, always have the nature of happiness, the world"
