It means knowing. All of these are spontaneously accomplished and without any conceptualization, seeing in a way of not seeing. Why is it called power? Because it destroys all the obscurations of ignorance in one's own continuum, and it also destroys all of others. As it is said in the Great Vehicle Sutra, the Supreme Master: "Power is like a vajra to the obscuration of ignorance." Also, these are called powers because they destroy the four maras. As it is said in the Ornament of the Sutras: "To the means, protection, purity, and the definite arising of the Great Vehicle, I prostrate to you who destroy the maras that greatly delude sentient beings." As it is said. Among them, the mara that deludes in means is that after making offerings and sacrifices, the performer and the livestock that are killed will also be reborn in the heavens, etc., teaching the means to be reborn in the heavens and liberation, etc. This is destroyed by the first power. That one goes to heavens and bad destinies by good and bad karma, but thinks that relying on Ishvara etc., whether one has taken refuge or not, and whether one pleases them or not, one will go there, this is the mara that deludes in protection, and is destroyed by the second power. Thinking that the samadhi of formless absorption is liberation, etc., this is the mara that deludes in purity, and is destroyed by the third power. Because he knows and teaches the ability to abandon those seeds. To connect those with the lineage of the Great Vehicle to the Lesser Vehicle, this is the mara that definitely deludes in the Great Vehicle, and this is destroyed by the remaining seven powers. The second is, the first two are fearlessness in accomplishing one's own benefit, and the latter two are fearlessness in accomplishing the benefit of others, it should be determined like this. Among them, the fearlessness in manifestly awakening to all dharmas is because one knows all dharmas and has understood them in one's heart, therefore there is no one in the world more powerful than him, and no one can argue that it is not so. This is the perfection of wisdom. The fearlessness in the exhaustion of outflows is because all outflows such as desire have been exhausted, therefore there is no place to argue against such a promise, this is the perfection of abandonment. The fearlessness in prophesying the obstructing dharmas is because one directly sees that sensual pleasures and attachment etc. obstruct liberation.

Thus, there is no ground for refuting the teacher. The teacher who shows the path to liberation is fearless because he has attained complete liberation through the dharmas of the path to enlightenment and has directly seen what others have never seen. Therefore, there is no ground for anyone to refute the teacher. Third, as stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "With realization and conduct, and with wisdom and activity, I prostrate to the supreme teacher of all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas." As it is said, first, the six qualities encompassed by realization, the body has no errors, that is, the actions of the body such as looking and beating to subdue, there will never be any kind of error. There is no idle talk in speech, that is, Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas will scold and say who is in the empty village, etc., but the Tathagata has no meaningless words. There is no forgetting in the mind, it is not like the re-emergence of manifest wisdom after entering into samadhi, but knowing at all times without effort. There is no wavering, because there is no distinction between entering and leaving samadhi, so it is always in samadhi. There is no perception of difference, that is, seeing the nature of samsara as nirvana, seeing the nature of afflictions as purification, etc., all are seen as equality. There is no abandonment without examination, that is, for all beings who have even a little opportunity to be subdued, there will never be abandonment such as missing the time, etc., although without discrimination, they will not miss the time to benefit beings, there is no distinction between far and near. Second, the six qualities encompassed by conduct, the intention is not diminished, that is, with the intention of benefiting all beings, the intention will not be diminished. Diligence is not diminished, that is, for the sake of one being, he will also be diligent in countless kalpas, with diligence without effort, the body, speech, and mind will not be tired. Mindfulness is not diminished, that is, for the actions, thoughts, and habits of beings, etc., by what means to subdue, etc., knowing the past and being possessed by the wisdom of mindfulness. Wisdom is not diminished, that is, in accordance with the behavior of beings, teaching the Dharma gate, there will be no exhaustion. Samadhi
