Knowing all that exists, knowing all suchness, and seeing that it is without inherent existence like an illusion. Dharma-knowledge is to know the aspect of means, of which there are four. Suffering Dharma-knowledge is the aspect of the truth of suffering being reversed, seeing the wheel of the mandala as pure in nature. Origin Dharma-knowledge is the wisdom of the nature of afflictions, and whatever is merit and non-merit, and whatever appears as immutable karma, that too, from the beginning, is a part of the self-luminous nature, seeing the spontaneously accomplished activity and nature as inseparable. Cessation Dharma-knowledge is, the adventitious obscurations that are to be abandoned newly cease, and that realm of cessation is also seen as great bliss. Path Dharma-knowledge is, all the dharmas of the path, the nature of mind from the beginning is great bliss, self-aware and self-luminous, abiding in that very essence, seeing the nature as inseparable in the original way. Subsequent knowledge is the aspect of wisdom, of which there are four. Suffering Subsequent-knowledge is, focusing on that very object of Dharma-knowledge, seeing it as great bliss. Origin Subsequent-knowledge is, focusing on the object of Dharma-knowledge, seeing it as without inherent existence. Cessation Subsequent-knowledge is, seeing all that is to be abandoned as ceased from the beginning. Path Subsequent-knowledge is, [from] the path being inseparable, that too is seen as the nature of emptiness from the beginning. Knowing the four truths is, although not separate from the two, Dharma-knowledge and Subsequent-knowledge, if one identifies only the essence of each one, then the aspect of suffering is the mandala, and seeing the essence as great bliss is knowing suffering. Knowing the nature of origin as having wisdom activity, also seeing it in the way of no self-nature, is knowing origin. Seeing that the nature has ceased from the beginning, and also being separated from the adventitious, is knowing cessation. The basis and result being inseparable, abiding in the essence of the path, that too is seen as emptiness from the beginning, is knowing the path. This, the nature of the truth of suffering abiding in the truth of cessation, and the nature of the truth of origin abiding in the truth of the path, is seeing directly, knowing the meaning of this is very important. Other-mind knowledge is, guided by the wisdom of seeing all dharmas as equality,

Supernatural Power: Knowing all the behaviors of all sentient beings included in existence and peace, including their arising and ceasing. Exhaustion Knowledge is: Knowing that all phenomena to be abandoned are inherently exhausted from the beginning. Non-arising Knowledge is: That all phenomena are inherently without arising, and after abandoning all that should be abandoned through the path, seeing that even temporary arising will never occur in the future. These are in terms of the ten knowledges of the Buddha. The Dharma-knowledge and Subsequent-knowledge of the Path of Seeing should also be understood according to this reasoning from the perspective of afflictive obscurations. The eightfold forbearance, such as Suffering Dharma-forbearance and Subsequent-forbearance, are known by the eight knowledges, and the meaning of seeing is endured and practiced. So, in order to explain that the nature of the sixteen joys of the Warmth stage of the Path of Seeing is sixteen moments, should each of the sixteen knowledges and forbearances be combined with them? They are not combined. Because these sixteen knowledges and forbearances of the Mantra system, initially in the difference of the way of realization, although there is a slight sequence in obtaining the two, knowledge and forbearance, mostly all sixteen are practiced simultaneously in the session of the non-common Samadhi of the Deities, distinguishing by the difference of the object of focus, but the essence of the un-realized wisdom is one. The sixteen joys are the order of precedence on the basis of the mind of enlightenment, called the sixteen moments of the joy of the Path of Seeing, and are not the sixteen knowledges and forbearances. These are from the "Namasangiti," which says, "Holding the realization of the eight knowledges," and "Holding the pure ten knowledges," etc., the definitive meaning of what was said. I obtained it through effort from the oral instructions of the great accomplished master, the Venerable Zhiwa, the Eastern Guru. This profound and vast Dharma gift, which has never been used by others before, I will proclaim it widely in the midst of the snowy mountains, not just seeking fame and fortune, but it should be praised and accepted by the wise. The classification of the inner meaning of secret mantra, such as the stages of entry and result, and the twelve aspects of the meaning of the Four Noble Truths, etc., are also transmitted from the great accomplished master, the Venerable Zhiwa, from the land of Oddiyana (Ujjain).
