There is absolutely no opportunity to allow the root downfall, but there are many opportunities for mantra practitioners to be allowed to kill living beings, etc. After such prohibition, the sinful act is committed by regarding one's own doctrine as superior to the Buddha's teachings. The previous gurus also considered it necessary to have a contemptuous mind. Your own established doctrine is generally good, but the debate and investigation are not good, because it is both a root downfall and a common basis for permission, which the previous gurus do not approve of either. Generally speaking, although killing will become a root downfall that contradicts the teachings of the Sugata, the killing that is permitted for mantra practitioners is not a root downfall, because the branches of intention that become a root downfall are completely absent. According to your statement, new and careless monks, in order to make them practice the ten dharmic practices, even if they are slightly scolded and beaten with sticks, they should also incur the root downfall of a Bodhisattva. Not to mention those who possess discipline, even if a monk whose discipline is broken is beaten, it is said to be a root downfall. Because it has been promised that there is never an opportunity to allow such actions as root downfalls. According to your statement, the commentary on the Kalachakra says: "Because he violates his teachings, he will become another second root downfall, that is, practicing the ten non-virtuous deeds behind the guru's back." Having said that, the practitioners of Kalachakra will not be able to act openly, because those faults will fall on this reasoning. So what is it? It is the motivation of contempt for the precepts established by the Buddha, exceeding the failure of the lower two vows, and if this contemptuous mind exists, even if other mantra vows are exceeded, it will become this downfall, because the common basis of this downfall and other downfalls exists. For the subtle precepts of the three vows, even if they are violated with a contemptuous mind, they will only become a fault similar to this root downfall, but will not truly become a root downfall. It is obvious that the second root downfall in the Kalachakra, which is the same in essence as this root downfall, violating the guru's teachings, also refers to the nature of sin represented by the ten non-virtuous deeds.

Because I have not said any names of individual precepts. Therefore, in general, assuming there is a motivation of contempt, intentionally and accurately killing another person, engaging in the act of taking another person's property that is not given and generating a sense of attainment, and engaging in sexual relations with a place that is not appropriate, that is, possession by a housewife is the main thing. In addition, there are those guarded by parents, relatives, local officials, etc., and not paying prostitutes, etc., as well as close female relatives, males, hermaphrodites, and female animals, etc. Regarding stupas or temples, etc., treating them as inappropriate places, and all other inappropriate and impermissible paths other than female empowerment, and inappropriate times such as pregnant women and mourners, and not knowing satisfaction with sexual acts beyond the number limit, experiencing and possessing these five situations, and changing the false perception of human dharma and speaking meanings that others can understand, that is, praising oneself or slandering others for the sake of happiness in this life, making others understand the Pratimoksha and the four common roots and fame and gain, etc., and because of stinginess, not giving offerings of religion and wealth, making others know that one does not give, and not accepting those who confess, but with an angry mind causing harm to their body, retinue, and wealth, and changing perception and wrongly explaining the meaning of the Dharma, making others understand that these are Bodhisattva vows and common downfalls. The twenty-two downfalls mentioned here, if there is also a mind of contempt, will violate the teachings of the Sugata. Even if it is only a natural transgression, if one kills animals, etc. with this motivation, it will produce inferior results, but it will not become a root sin. These eight sins are only violations of the Sugata's teachings. Therefore, the first four are called the four root sins of Pratimoksha and common sins, also only because they are named because they are downfalls of the same kind. For those who have the lineage of mantra vows, it should not be said that this is the root sin of Pratimoksha, because the eight lineages of Pratimoksha vows do not fully cover the lineage of mantra vows. Therefore, this also applies to the mind generation of the Sutra school. What is allowed here is faultless.
