To say this is simply a lack of proper investigation. Although it seems that one thinks a bad place cannot increase happiness, one does not understand the key that all appearances can become companions for happiness. Furthermore, it is said in the tantras that with a non-discriminating mind, one should equally enjoy all good and bad. In this tantra also, it says: "All lineages should be practiced, and one should not discriminate between what is edible and inedible. In that very nature, there is no difference." And in the Hevajra, it says: "Because of the discrimination between pleasant and unpleasant, one should not merely be attached. The enjoyment of what is edible and inedible, likewise what is drinkable and undrinkable, what is passable and impassable, with mantras, one should not discriminate." It is said like this, and it should be understood by saying that one should eat all impure substances, etc. Eighth, the eight vows, etc. Furthermore, in the root tantra, it says: "Symbols should not be placed, one should not be angry with those who have vows, one should not transgress empowerment, and one should be happy with them." That is, not transgressing armor, or not placing hand seals, is during the practice of the generation stage. Not being angry with people who have vows, not transgressing the vows of empowerment, except for special circumstances. Meditating on happiness together with mudra at the four times, these are three. And the three purities of the gathering mentioned above. From the Vinayasamuccaya: "Desire, anger, and fear, existence, delusion, and pride should be abandoned, always permanence and annihilation, likewise scriptures and collections should be abandoned." And it says: "Anger and manifest pride, praise and blame should all be abandoned, always without attachment and without joy, all abide in common." And it says: "One should abide without doubt in the manner of self and other self-nature, the conduct without desire, one should practice all slight desires." Thus, abandoning the eight afflictions such as desire, never associating with the five obscurations, the views of permanence and annihilation, never holding the behavior of speculation on teachings and reasoning, not liking or disliking praise and blame, etc., and also protecting the minds of cherishing and attachment that are not common to others, without mixing them, not doubting, and in a way that is without attachment, whatever.

Accomplishing all desires, In the Samputa Tantra and the Hevajra Tantra, it is also said: "Certainly manifest as a non-god, even if like Indra, destruction alone should not be done, but one should act in the manner of a lion." As it is said, and in the Vinayasutra, it is also said: "Having completely abandoned all needs, the yogi acts like a lion." As it is said, one enters without fear of anything, and one eats as much as one can of food and drink as one finds it. As it is said, and also, possessing fire offerings, sacrifices, and asceticism, mantras and meditations are abandoned, vows and precepts are liberated. One enjoys as much as one can, and abandons external activities such as fire offerings, and has no conceptualizations of dates and constellations, and one must abandon vows regarding food, and one must be liberated from the vows of body and speech, and furthermore, abandoning shame, cowardice, and ordinary sleep is the vow of all conduct, especially here, abiding in the conduct of the left path, and subduing the wicked such as the disbelievers, and at the time of secret conduct, mantras and mudras, and wisdom should not be relied upon there. It is very secret, and at the time of deliberately accomplishing the gathering of the field-born, one should not go, deluded by desire, to others except for the messenger. Other female messengers are always liberated, and one should also enjoy with diligence. Thus, attachment to the mantra-born, is to always rely on them, and one does not go to others besides the mantra-born. The conduct and vows of attaining stability in the completion stage are: all food is an inner fire offering, and constantly establishing the mandala of samadhi, and consecrating whatever is seen by knowing it as the three vajras, and knowing speech as mantra, so that recitation is continuous, and constantly not being separated from wisdom, and showing instructions to disciples who are human and non-human, and benefiting sentient beings by subduing and embracing, and pleasing all the Buddhas by offering oneself, and never abandoning the sleep of clear light, and not abandoning the customs of the village, and not rejecting the senses from desirable qualities. After gaining great stability, one does not bind the hand mudras, and...
