It is evident that views themselves also differ, just like water in a hoofprint and the ocean. What takes a long time to accomplish there can be accomplished here in an instant, and this is due to the difference in skillful means. In the "Five Stages," it says, "Having abided in the stage of union, one no longer learns in any field." If one thinks that it is unreasonable to establish the ten bhūmis of the path of meditation as the union to be learned, it is because the object of meditation is different, or that one does not learn other stages. In reality, union itself is mixed with conduct and learned. As it says in itself, "Abiding in the stage of union, is the yogi who is learning, because of meditating on union, conduct is also non-dual with it." Therefore, 9-368 Having obtained the ultimate of exemplary luminosity, thereby seeing the truth, one must necessarily pass through the bardo. Having obtained the luminosity of meaning, thereby directly seeing the truth, one must necessarily experience it in this life. From the completion of the generation stage, merely generating the realization of the manifest, this is called being bound by one lifetime. In the next life, one will definitely attain Buddhahood. Regarding accomplishment in a human body, etc., even admitting that after attaining Buddhahood there is still a body of flesh and blood, and for those who have a mind-made body in general, even if there is no body of semen and blood, the ordinary person who is a bodhisattva incarnation must have such a body, etc., let us temporarily set aside the debates about the nature of absurdities. In the "Compendium of Conduct," more than seventy names of union are mentioned, just like the twenty-three unions, possessing those dharmas. Among them, quoting the "Teaching of Inner Pervasion" composed by Teacher Kampa, "The nature of sound is said to be coarse, similarly, the nature of the bodhisattva is subtle, whatever is separated from the mind, is the supreme abode of the yogi." Here, the statement that the purification of the three poisons in the glorious supreme first is the place of the Bodhisattva is also quoted, so this should be explained, because it is very important for practicing emptiness. All conceptual thoughts such as afflictions, the unborn purity that has not arisen in its own nature from the beginning, is the basis for the arising of bodhi, this is the meaning of the glorious supreme teaching. The way to enter into it is the nature of sound, that is, the yoga related to sound, conceptualization, hearing, and thinking, that is, whatever practice, is only to have faith in the nature of reality, and one cannot realize the extremely subtle object.
