Is knowledge, and the discriminating awareness wisdom is the nature of name and meaning knowledge, the accomplishing wisdom is wanting to do things, and the dharmadhatu wisdom is the realm appearing clearly without being obscured. Consciousness is also identified as the five sense consciousnesses. Second, the coarse body is repeatedly discarded, so it is not the original body. The continuous original body is wind-mind, the basis of the mind's clarity not ceasing is together with the wind that is ridden. Because there is a subtle body, it takes the coarse bodies. Again, discarding the coarse and becoming the subtle body, again taking the coarse body, etc., revolving like a wheel. All the coarse and subtle mentioned above also do the same. Then the original body is the basis for the practice of this. Third, from the five stages, it says, "The rainbow-like body and speech, by meditating on that, will be attained." It is said that generally, meditating on the inseparability of bliss and emptiness, the suchness, can be accomplished. Here, what is actually attained is the ultimate example of luminosity and the ultimate isolation of mind, which is called luminosity. If that arises, in the second instant, the wind-mind body is accomplished, the ultimate example of luminosity is the dissolution process at the time of death appearing exactly as it is. Just as the luminosity of death separates the body of fruition and the wind-mind, this also establishes the name of separating the two. The nature, one's own life force and mind are inseparable, that becomes the actual deity body. What is the mind? It is the alaya consciousness and mind blessed by the three appearances. Fourth, that is completely combined with wind, the three consciousnesses again, become the body of a yogi, called the illusory body. It is said in the supreme five stages, the difference of the dependent mind transformed by the bliss of the three consciousnesses, appearing as the appearance of a deity, the dependent wind also becomes the form of a deity, that is, the union of the two. This is now the impure illusory body because it has not abandoned the afflictive obscurations. An example of this is, the Wisdom Vajra Samuccaya and, the blessings of the noble deities are slightly different, but according to the system of the Wisdom Vajra Samuccaya, although the nature is not accomplished, it appears like an illusion only from the aggregation of causes and conditions.

Whatever is pervasive like the moon in water, and although devoid of flesh and bones, appears as a body, like a shadow; emanations that expand and contract greatly, like a mirage; formed solely from wind and mind, like a dream; the body of karmic maturation and the continuum, though one, appear as distinct, like an echo in a valley; appearing as the mandala of support and supported, like a city of gandharvas; though one, showing many, like a magic trick; colors clear and unmixed, like a rainbow; the coarse body, like a cloud, within which realms appear, like a flash of lightning; spontaneously arising from emptiness without conceptual thought, like a bubble bursting from water; limbs and parts simultaneously complete, like a reflection in a mirror—these are twelve. Each example indicates a facet of the characteristic, possessing all twelve characteristics. The three main examples are from the Five Stages: "The image of the mirror, symbolizes the illusory body; the colors are like a rainbow; the pervasiveness is like the moon in water." This means that simultaneously complete in limbs and appearing but without inherent existence is like the image in a mirror; colors distinct and unmixed are like a rainbow; just as when one moon rises, reflections appear simultaneously in all water, so although the essence of the illusory body is not different, the appearance of mandalas and so on is limitless, appearing without end, therefore it is like the moon in water. Later, some who claim to be followers of the venerable Lhodrak Marpa, believe that the ability to transmigrate into another body also arises from this illusory body, which is speculation without proper learning. Transference of consciousness is merely the blocking of the wind gate, and the mastery of focusing on the transference of consciousness from the heart center. For entering another's body, in addition to that, if one blocks the manifestation of clinging to the reality of external appearances, and is skilled in the ability to transfer bindus at will on the path of mudra, and has pleased external deities and dakinis so that they become special companions, then even if one has not accomplished the special way of wind entering, abiding, and dissolving in the central channel, it can happen; and even if one has accomplished it, if those are not complete, it will not happen. Naming the separation of wind-mind and the coarse body, this is the body of wind-mind.
