The commentary explains that the word "part" is a metaphor for extreme subtlety. Because it is subtle, clear, and fast, it is like lightning. The Ngö translation says: It is as subtle as the tip of a hundred hairs, flashing like the light of a thousand lightning bolts. The way of expression here is very clear. In short, the ḍummo actually becomes subtle, clear, and sharp, and a flame-like appearance also arises in the yogi's mind, which is the last of the five signs such as smoke at the navel center. From then on, the subtle rays of the ḍummo will fill all the channels. In the yogi's mind, the images of the three realms will also appear, and the heat of the ḍummo will pervade every pore, so the gods, asuras, and spirits dwelling in the ten directions cannot see the practitioner, and the appearance of being burned by the fiery mandala, threatened by rakshasas and ḍākinīs, etc., will occur. The so-called "deva yoga" is the union of semen and bindu. Because it possesses such characteristics and functions, the knot of the central channel is opened, the holes are broken, and it burns internally. When it reaches the heart, the so-called "winds of the five aggregates" arise, which are the paternal energy winds of the five elements. When it stays in the heart chakra, it will stop again and again in the central channel during meditative absorption, which is the meaning of burning the five tathāgatas. In this way, the various conceptualizations of the five aggregates will disappear, and the various five kinds of clairvoyance will appear. The winds of the five realms, that is, the maternal energy winds of the five elements, will also stop slightly at this time. When the fire of the ḍummo reaches the throat, it will stop more violently, which is the meaning of burning the four or five consorts. Although the twelve grasping and grasped winds exist in all the chakras, the wind existing in the throat will gradually stop at this time, abandoning the various conceptualizations of the five realms, and the objects of the senses will appear again and again in the form of bliss. The words of truth will be accomplished, {the bindu [tongue] will increase, the power will increase, and the knowledge of unlearned treatises, etc., will also arise. The Ngö translation and others say: The heart chakra is the dharma chakra, and after being burned, it becomes the enjoyment chakra. The meaning of the Drok translation is similar. Some oral instructions say: The throat chakra {burns people [burns fire], etc., but it is not good.
